This side story takes place in the real world and actually happened just now. 11/24/2020.
It was past noon and I had just taken my shower. I hadn't had breakfast yet and probably wasn't going to before work would start at 2:30. A day ago I had read through the newest chapter of Abyssgate, hero of the shield, and, on a whim, I decided to look into the spirit tortoise. While doing so, I found out about its human familiar and got a bit curious. I knew for a while the the Phoenix was one of the four heavenly beasts in canon. I don't believe realized at the time I wrote Phi into the story, but It didn't take long to find out.
I decided to look up the phoenix to see if they had human familiars as well. I learned a bit more about its powers, but when I got to the background, I immediately started laughing my ass off because of what I read.
"Phoenix was sealed away by the previous Gauntlet Hero who left behind a description of its attack pattern, as well as other information, which are presently unreadable."
Aaah, this is gonna be fun.
