Chapter 44: The New Artist

LISA's POV

"Good morning." I said once I entered her mansion. Yes, not so strangely, famous Korean Artists love living in a mansion.

"Welcome welcome! You're finally here, my feast." 😈 she said in her evil voice.

"Haha, you're funny!" I chuckled.

"Come in first!" She suggested.

I went inside the mansion and dare I say, the mansion is as fancy, elegant, and marvelous as Jennie's. They're surely rich.

We had our breakfast and went out for her schedule. Although she seems like a normal woman in her 20s, Ms. Kim Jisoo is definitely a goddess among the actresses. Her skill in acting is no joke, people, even the director, actors, actresses, and the staffs were all mesmerized by the show she put on. I nearly had my jaws dropped a few times too. She's so in the character we all could believe she's the person she's acting.

"How was that?" She came and asked right after she finished all her scenes.

"It was great! You're gifted I see!" I said honestly.

"Did my show make you forget your pain?" She asked, her question was like daggers to my heart.

"..."

"Were there daggers in my question?" She asked like she could read my mind.

Then she titled her head a little.
"Hey there Jendeukie, surprised to see you here." Ms. Kim Jisoo said.

"Emmm, well, Rosie and I wanted to come cheer for your first day of shooting." She's fidgeting before being able to complete her sentence. I could feel that her eyes were landing on me.

"It's not like it's my first day at work, but thanks anyway guys! ChaeYoung ah, come here, let's talk for awhile!" Jisoo then dragged chipmunk somewhere a bit far off.

JISOO's POV

"Why are you here? =.=" I asked, curious.

"Well, like Jennie said, we're here cuz it's your first shooting day." She said stuttering a little.

"Not because you miss me?" I smirked.

Rosé and I got closer after we planned our mission to break the JenLisa Stan. Why? Cuz Rosé wants Jennie and Me.... of course Lisa. We hung out a lot and we even went out cycling together.

Talking about cycling, she was trying to teach me how to ride a bicycle but her speed was too fast I had to tug her shirt when she held the handle.

It was such a fun day with her.

So anyway, we knew that Jennie would always be on and off with guys. I mean, it's Jennie Kim, she falls in and out of love all the time and then she writes songs about them. We think that this time with Mino Oppa is the best time to get what's ours.

I know I'm a bit of a bad friend but since Jennie doesn't want Lisa, why wouldn't I let that misfortune become an opportunity for me?

Rosé came to me after Lisa met her, that day when Lisa confessed her feeling for Jennie to her. I watched Lisa from afar quite many times, and that one time, a guy named BamBam caught me sneaking around. He's so meticulous! I explained why I did what I did and he told me that he's a close friend of Lisa, and he agreed to help me.

So.... that devastating night of Lisa, I witnessed it as well, and couldn't help but wanted to help out. We went to the ocean for her to chill a little. And you knew what happened after. One of the bad things I did was not telling BamBam how Jennie changes her feelings for guys all the time. No guy has ever lasted 3 months with her. Chaeng knows that too.

I snatched that chance when Mr. Yang asked me what kind of new manager I wanted. Of course, I said Lisa. It'll always be Lisa as a manager for me. She's good at her job, I can tell. To my surprise, Mr. Yang agreed to what I asked.

Back to our conversation...
"Haha no, I came because I wanted to see how Lisa held up. We were exes and a part of each other's childhood after all." Chaeng said while staring into the view before her.

She's such a cute, thoughtful and elegant person. She's like a princess, and her cheeks are so chubby I wanna squeeze them all day.

"Then why with Jennie?" I asked, wiggled my eyebrows.

"Nah, don't think too much, Mino Oppa dropped her off here and I just happened to get off as well." She said simply.

"Oh shit, we must go back then!"

LISA's POV

It was kinda awkward seeing her again, right after I confessed and moved out. I don't know what to say and she seemed to be numb as well.

"Emmmmm, ....." I really don't know what to say.

"Lisa, I-" she was about to say something when

"Lisa, let's go home. I'm tired. Thanks for coming Jendeukie. Chaeng ah, take her home. See ya later guys!" Mr. Jisoo came and dragged my arms to walk with her to her car.

While walking, she turned and asked "awkward much?" To which I nodded.

"Try to not meet her for a while. Maybe that'll help?" She suggested.

I think that'd be a good idea. Maybe I should try to erase her out of my memories.

Seeing her makes me realize how much pain I still have and how heavy my heart is.

Later in the evening....

*Phone Ringing*

"Hello?"

"Lisa, I'll see you soon." The voice on the other side bore so much excitement. Then it's hung up.

Geez, how am I to handle all these?
