It wasn't supposed to happen this way! He knew he should've listened to Ford. He should've listened to Ford and now Ford was dying and it was all his fault! Why didn't he listen?
"Stanley-" Ford coughed up blood. Stan kept running. He had to find the nearest hospital.
Stan held Ford a little tighter, "You're gonna be alright bro! Just don't close your eyes!"
"Thank you, I love you, I'm sorry," Ford mumbled out. He was struggling to breathe and Stan knew if they didn't get to the hospital soon Ford would lose too much blood.
"Not yet! The hospital is just a little further!" Stan exclaimed as he passed a sign that read "Piedmont Hospital."
"Everything hurts, Stanley please- Stanley-" he begged. Stan entered the hospital's emergency room.
"You're gonna be fine sixer, you'll be alright," Stan murmured as he watched the medical staff take his brother away.
"You're going to be okay..." Stan continued to say, more to comfort himself. Ford was a strong man, if anyone could survive a gunshot wound it was Stanford Filbrick Pines.
Little did the twins know, their great nephew had just been admitted to the same hospital for a similar reason.
