I walked out of the Homestead and headed towards the garden...Newt's there waiting for me tapping his foot impatiently....

"Thought you'll sleep all day"

"Sorry" I mumbled as I ducked my head, letting my H/C hair cover my face from the other gladers

I grabbed the rake and started to deal with the dried fallen leaves...I gathered them away and then watered the greens....

"Break Time" Newt announced making me sigh in relief and walked towards the area where the flowers bloomed...I noticed them just a while ago

"Y/N!"

I turned and saw Newt looking at me with a frown "Don't do anything stupid"

I nodded and sat down picking the beautiful flowers and started making a flower crown

"Hey!"

I glanced up and saw Teresa, I gave her a smile and a nod before she sat down beside me, she stared at the glade and mostly on my brother

"Tell him already"

She looked at me in confusion

"What?"

"Oh please, I know you like my big brother....confess to him already"

She looked down and started to play with the flower petals

"Is it really obvious?"

I sighed and placed the finished flower crown on the ground before turning to her

"To me, Yes, but to the guys? Nah uh....Boys are way too...I don't know....clueless?"

She chuckled and took the flower crown I just made and placed it on top of my head

"Well...I'll try...How about you?"

"How about me what?"

"Newt likes you"

I frowned and gave her a 'are-you-serious?' look

"Alby told him to keep an eye on me around the clock adding me to his duties and he probably hates me now...I'm a burden to him"

"Oh...so that's why he kept glancing at you while you were working"

I shrugged but something inside me felt...flattered? Oh no...anything but that

"That's his job...nothing else"

She sighed and went behind me...I felt her gently tugging on my hair

"What are you doing?"

"Shush...just stay still"

After a few more tugging, Teresa finally stood up and walked in front of me....

"Perfect"

I frowned and touched my hair...It was tied into an artistic kind of style....it seems very familiar...What was it called again?

"You braided it"

Teresa frowned "Braided?"

"This is called a braid....Thanks"

She smiled and helped me up

"You look like a princess"

I rolled my eyes but smiled.....

"Greenie, time to-"

Teresa and I turned and saw that it was Newt....

"Oh uh...hey....I was just gonna go back to work....see ya Y/N" Teresa waved before she ran away

I watched her go before turning back to Newt who was staring at me and it made me conscious

I immediately took the flower crown off and hid it behind me and gave him a smile

"I'll go back to work too" I walked past him and walked back towards the garden
