Mr. Loverman

I wore a black dress to the christmas party, I pinned my hair back. I caught a glance of myself in the mirror. I reducted the bruises on my neck. I haven't been sleeping good and you could tell. I used makeup to conceal anything that showed I was becoming unhappy

Theo looks worse. His body is thinner and his glowing skin was now dull.

"Ready?" I walked down the common room and he was wearing an all black suit

"You look nice" he held my hand. He didn't interlace his fingers

"You do too" We walked out of the dungeons

The party was lively and people were having fun talking. It was too easy to fake a smile when Slughorn came up to me

"Ms. Burke good to see you" his smiled dropped when he saw Theo "Mr. Nott"

Theo didn't talk to me much. He just had his hand on the back of my arm rubbing my skin softly

I watched as people had fun with their dates and I tried to get Theo to talk

"Are you staying here?"

"Yea"

My heart leapt. Christmas break it'll just be us two finally

"I bought you something" he said hiding a smile

"It isn't christmas yet"

"Well this isn't your christmas gift" he reached for his pocket

He reached out a silver necklace with a green gem

"It's beautiful" I held onto the gem

"Anything for you" he turned me around to put it on me

His fingers on my neck made my hairs stick up straight.

"I'm sorry Flora" he faced me but couldn't look into my eyes

"What happened?"

"You couldn't conceal the bruises on the back of your  neck, I gave those to you didn't I" he looked at the floor

"Hey it's okay" I pulled his head up

"I haven't been treating you the way you deserve" He cupped my face

"I love you Flora" he leaned in and kissed my lips softly

After that everything seemed to changed he was talking laughing along with me. He wrapped his arms around me and was so gentle with me

All the music stopped and the laughs died out when Flich dragged in Malfoy

Theos demeanor changed instantly. He let go on my hand and I saw his face loose that beautiful smile

"I have to go" He said walking out to follow Malfoy and Snape

Blaise walked over to me "What's going on?"

"I don't know but I think we're about to deal with something bigger than ourselves" I said and one single tear rolled down my face

Everyone left for winter break, Malfoy stayed.

"Are you mad at me" Theo asked at our mostly empty table

I didn't answer I continued to eat

"Answer me" he grabbed my knee

"I'm leaving here's your gift" I slammed down the small box and letter

As I walked I couldn't wrap my head around why everything was falling apart how he had forgotten our one year anniversary, how he hardly held my hand or hardly was intimate with me

These thoughts followed me inside my empty room. I sat on my bed and wrapped myself in my blanket

I had gotten Theo a black snake ring that was an enchanted snake that would move around his finger.

"Happy Christmas my love, we all wish you could be here. Stay safe baby and I hope you enjoy your christmas gift

I read her letter and it gave me comfort. She had also bought me new jumpers that she thought i'd like

I wasn't planning on walking out but I felt I should be mature and talk to him

I walked out and he was knocked out in the common room

I sat down next to him and he was so on edge that he felt me right away and jumped

"Flora" "I'm sorry okay"

"Empty room" I said at least wanting to have some form of intimacy, he took me up to his room

"I want to see those eyes" He said and he pushed me down to my knees

I listened and maintained eye contact and he groaned and pushed my head aggressively

Before he finished he pulled me up and I laid on the bed

"Fuck you taste so good" I continued to pull his hair and arch my back with pleasure

He turned me around aggressively and grabbed my hands behind my back. I felt his tie wrap around them tightly

He entered me from the back which we never did because it wasn't as intimate. This position hurt much more and I started whimpering from pain

He pulled my hair and aggressively grabbed my neck

He did this until he finished. He hadn't even taken off his clothes.

He laid down next to me and untied my hands

I hoped he wouldn't noticed the tears falling from my eyes

The tears just fell down the side of my eyes. I felt my back wet from where he came and I knew bruises were going to form where his hands were on my lower back

I got up and started finding my clothes

He had ripped my shirt "Here take one of mine" he tossed me his sweater

He used to beg me to stay with him longer. Now he was allowing me to leave right after.

I couldn't help but feel empty inside. This didn't feel like love anymore. This felt like the shadow of our love. watching him catch his breath and turn to sleep

"I think we should take a break" I managed to say without choking on my words

"If that's what you want" he said getting up

"No that's not what I want I want you to act like you used too or at least open up to me" I started raising my voice

"Fuck Flora you can be so fucking nieve" He had his back turned to me

He's never cursed at me or ever called me names

"Tell Draco Malfoy he can have you" I stormed out of his room

"Look Flora" he chased after me "I didn't mean that okay" he wiped the tears from my eyes

"Please and I'm begging you please don't leave me, please" I've never seen him like this

His eyes watered and it was a sight I never wanted to see

I held him that entire night.
