Chapter 4

We arrived home 20 minutes later and I got out of the car and locked it as my siblings ran inside.

I walked inside and put the keys on the counter as I tried to creep upstairs to my room so nobody seen my face.

I made it to my door when Joey and Michael appeared behind me and called my name.

"Hey kiddo how was school." Michael asked

"Yeah okay." I sighed

"What aren't you looking at us." Joey asked confused

"Just about to get changed." I lied

"Briley turn around." Michael says raising his voice at me

"I can't." I say

He walks over to me and turns me around himself and crosses his arms

"Now what's wrong." He asked

"Michael look up." Joey says

Michael looks up at me and immediately inspects my face as I sigh.

"Who did this." He asks angrily

"Nobody." I say

"Tell me." He says angrily

"This girl at school." I sigh

"Did she get in trouble." He asks

"No the teacher had already left." I say

"I'll ring up." He says angrily

"No you can't." I say

"I am." He says

"You always do this." I say angrily and slam my door sliding down it.

"Ugh." I scream

I jump into bed and ring Brodie wanting to hang out with someone.

"Hey." I say

"What's up? He asks

"Are you busy? I say

"Nah why's that." He says

"Wanna hang out." I ask

"Yeah sure." He says

"I'll be over soon." He says

I hang up the phone and walk over to my closet and decide what to wear

I end up wearing a pink shirt, blue shorts, and white sneakers.

I tie my hair into two braids and then grab my keys and walk out of my room.

I close my door and head downstairs to wait for him.

I hear a car beep and walk out the front door and smile when I see him and get into his car.

"Nice place." He smiles
