I stare at him ignoring his nervous fidgeting. Little Shinsou is adorable... and he's being bullied.

"Hey."

"Um... yeah?" he asks nervously.

"Do you want to be a hero?" His eyes brighten.

"Yeah! I do... but... everyone says I can't... that I have a villains quirk..." he looks down sadly.

"Huh?! What did I literally just say not too long ago?" He looks up at me in confusion. "It's not your quirk that makes you a hero or a villain. It's what you do with it."

"So... you think I can be a hero?" he asks hopefully.

"Anyone can be a hero if they work hard enough and want to save people. Izuku is going to become a hero and he's quirkless."

"Your quirkless friend wants to be a hero?"

"You got a problem with that?" I growl

"N... no! I was just surprised! I think it's great that they're trying to become a hero, even without a quirk."

"... whatever... I'm leaving."

I turn to leave but Shinsous' call of "wait!" stops me.

"What?" I ask, turning back to him.

He seems to contemplate what to say before settling on, "where are you going?"

"... Somewhere," I reply, suspiciously.

"Can... can I come?" he asks quietly.

"Whatever. Do what you want." He hides a small smile as he follows me.

I explore ignoring him until a familiar voice shouts, "Kacchan!" Normally I would groan in annoyance but instead, I smirk. I just had a great idea.

"Zuku!" I call.

"Y... yes, Kacchan?"

"This is Shinsou." I pull Shinsou in front of me. "His quirk is brainwashing." Shinsou looks at me in betrayal. I just smirk.

"Brainwashing? That's awesome! Imagine all the things you could use it for! Like a hostage situation or..." I tune out his rambling as I walk away leaving the two behind, both too distracted to notice me leaving. Now they won't be friendless and I don't have to be involved. I make my way to an empty park, sit down on a swing and look down at my hands. I used my quirk earlier, but I'm not quite sure how. I think I... I tense my hands, my fingers curled. There's a series of pops as my hands spark. I smirk.

Hell yeah.

I don't get home until a couple of hours later. I open the door with a call of, "I'm home!" not expecting an answer.
