carmen and avani were getting ready for the day at avanis house, they had plans to go shopping around melrose and then later they would go to boa steakhouse for dinner
carmen hadn't heard much from vinnie the whole time she was in la, he made it sound like he really wanted to see her but when she finally shows up, he hadn't made any plans. she also didn't hear much from blaire or erin, she just thought that they probably made some new friends and were hanging out with them, she was fine with that because she was with avani

avani finally found a parking spot after looking for one for about 10 minutes, "damn la traffic sucks" carmen rolled her eyes and grabbed her purse from the back seat, "try living here" avani laughed grabbing her purse
"wait" carmen paused before getting out of the car, "this might be annoying but, vinnie only liked my post, he always comments, and he's barley texted me since i got here" carmen sighed before leaning back in her seat, "vinnie's a confusing man, do you want to talk to him about it?" avani asked, "no, if he wanted to talk to me he would" carmen shrugged her shoulders and left the car, avani following her
the girls were having fun shopping but, carmen couldn't get vinnie off her mind, she wondered if she did something to upset him, she didn't remember doing anything, whatever maybe he just didn't want to talk to her right now
"hey blaire" vinnie smiled as he opened the door to the empty sway house, no one was there right now, "hey!" she smiled walking into the huge home, "hey, did you tell carmen you were coming here?" vinnie asked nervously, "no, why?" blaire replied, "oh no reason"
vinnie and blaire were sitting on the couch talking and laughing, vinnie said something funny which made blaire playfully push his shoulder, "you're so funny vinnie" she smiled, "really?" he asked jokingly, "yess you are" blaire said with a flirty giggle
vinnie felt a little bit uncomfortable, "um blaire, the boys are actually gonna be back soon and i think they would be kinda annoying if they saw you" he laughed trying to sound nice, "oh so do you want me to leave?" blaire asked uncomfortably, "yeah i think that would be best, you can come back another day though!" he lied, "oh okay" blaire stood up
"well it was fun while it lasted" she smiled, vinnie nodded bringing blaire to the door, just as he was about to open it the boys came running in, "hey vinnie, who's this girl?" josh smiled and slapped his friends back, "blaire, but she's leaving now" vinnie waved blaire out the door quickly
the only person that knew who she was was troy, he knew carmens feelings towards vinnie, why was her bestfriend here with him?

"avani read this" carmen handed her phone over interrupting the shopping they were doing, avani took the phone and shook her head as she read the texts, "classic vinnie" she shrugged handing back carmens phone, "what do you mean?"
"i mean, not saying its a hook up but anthony always tells me he has a bunch of girls over" avani picked up a shirt off of a rack and looked at it before putting it into her cart, "oh" carmen looked down, "i guess its fine, not like we are dating or anything"
the girls finished their shopping and were headed to boa steakhouse for dinner. carmen was kind of nervous to go to the restaurant because thats where all the famous celebrities or influencers were at and where all the paparazzi was
"damn this place is fancy as hell" carmen said to avani as they got out of the car, "i know right, its even nicer inside" avani smiled. the two were about to walk in when they got stopped by the one and only, hollywood fix
"avani, carmen!" fletcher the interviewer shouted, "oh hi fletcher" avani smiled as she stopped walking which made carmen stop too, "you guys look beautiful tonight, the outfits are amazing" fletcher said hyping the girls up, "thank you fletcher" avani replied with a smile
"so carmen, hows vinnie?" fletcher said moving the camera to carmens face, her eyes widened, "um, he's good" she replied not wanting the whole social media world knowing that they weren't talking as much right now, "any plans of you two meeting up?"
"we haven't made any yet but i'm sure we will" carmen smiled trying to sound nice, "nice nice" fletcher smiled before moving the camera back to avani, "and how about anthony" fletcher asked avani this time, "he's doing great! we are very happy" she smiled, "thats great"
fletcher left the two girls alone, "can't believe he asked about vinnie, hopefully nobody thinks anything of my answer" carmen said as her and avani walked into the restaurant, "well, it will definitely be on tiktokroom" carmen sighed at avanis answer
