The webtoon reveals that Lucas taking a branch from the world tree caused some natural disasters to happen outside its realm when the world tree tried to defend itself from Lucas, one of which is the landslide that killed Jennette's aunt who planned the Frame-Up of princess Athanasia back in the original novel.
