Love doesn't matter, for in the end
I know
They wouldn't love me back.

Cherries
Like a greedy child
I blindly reached my hand out
Hoping to touch yours

Disenchanted
The spell was broken
Her eyes opened to the truth
'I'm sorry, I wasn't the one.'
She screamed out her lungs
'I'm sorry that I loved you!'

Shooting Stars
Far apart
We drift away
Star-crossed lovers
Sailing down
A broken
Empty
Star-filled:
Stairway

The One You Left Behind
You chase after her
Like a man starved for food
Hunger burning in those crazed eyes
Never turning back around to see
The girl you left behind
Crumbling;
Giving herself up
To mend you who was broken
As you return back
To the woman
Who holds a dagger to your heart
