ADRIENNE STARED UP AT HER CEILING BEFORE ROLLING OVERON TO her side. she'd been in bed for most of the morning, feeling as if she wasn't able to get up to herself some food or even get a small snack that'd carry her throughout the rest of the day.
her room was almost pitch black, the only thing that brought the light in was the small crack between her curtains from the bright sun she once obsessed with. now, she felt as if she became elena with no emotions.
honestly, adrienne didn't want to meet up with harley, but she didn't want him to be stood up because she didn't want him to feel embarrassed for being stood up. it didn't feel right inside of her mind.
to get her going for the day, she sat up and ran her fingers through her hair before sauntering toward her bathroom. she gazed at herself for a few minutes, tears threatening to fall from her eyes from what she was looking at. she didn't want to feel this way, she was only feeling this way from what she had received from a few days before.
but, she wanted to seem fine because she didn't want him to feel proud for what he had messaged her. adrienne wanted him to feel guilty for what he had done and realize that he had broken the only promise they made together.
