Poem 5

I don't know why and how I decided to do this but I was listening to James Arthur's Train Wreck and in my brain I thought it'd be cool to give a reply but in the form of poetry since I can't sing to save my life.

Who knows he might see it someday but yeah here goes nothing.

Train Wreck

I can hear the sirens
Wailing in these dark nights
Hey, there's your sign, I'm alive yeah
I think I might lose it
And maybe I'll pull through this day
On my knees, yes I'm praying
But to who? And for what?
Can you still save me?

Can we un-break the broken?
Can we take back those spoken words?
There's no hope in the hopeless
Can you pull me out of the train wreck?
These ashes have taken sail
Our reactions set in motion
Am I ready to die just yet?
Can you pull me out of the train wreck?

This could be more than bad blood
Do we still have a sanctum?
A home, in here, is it home?
I'm not taking chances
These odds are stacked against us
No, it's too late to build it back

Can we un-break the broken?
Can we take back those spoken words?
There's no hope in the hopeless
Can you pull me out of the train wreck?
These ashes have taken sail
Our reactions set in motion
Am I ready to die just yet?
Can you pull me out of the train wreck?

You knew I was cruel and yet you would've died for me
Now you're down on your knees
And you need me to be a God
To be your help, to be a savior who can

But can we un-break the broken?
Can we take back those spoken words?
There's no hope in the hopeless
Can you pull me out of the train wreck?
These ashes have taken sail
Our reactions set in motion
Am I ready to die just yet?
Can you pull me out of the train wreck?
