Heartiest Heartaches are Hardest

My heavy eyes began to lift
The bed cushioned my weight as I drift
into endless thought
cherishing this very moment
losing consciousness

Suddenly, I remember my fall dance
I saw the glance coming toward me from you
Blank stare as the dim room shows me your silhouette
Hypnotized eyes never forget
Slow dancing with you
How could I ever forget you
You should have seen us
We were stuck
Dazed, lost and star struck
then I remembered last's night dream

You closed your laptop & kissed him on the bench
underneath the sky we fell in love

I don't know what I'm dreaming of
but everything inside me collapses
My eyes wide open once again
