Kawaki's POV

The sunlight invading my room was the worst thing my eyes landed on the moment I woke up.

'Shit. My head feels so heavy. "

I got up, memories of last night flowing through my mind non-stop.

"Was it...Just a dream? "

I wondered making my way to the kitchen.

'Dad is probably in his office again. Maybe it really was a dream. '

I heard Boruto, Himawari, and Mom talking.
Most of it was whispering so I couldn't make out what they were saying.

"Good more—"

Before I opened the door and was bombarded with million questions.

Damn.

"Kawaki?! "

"You're awake?! What happened to you? "

"Are you alright?! "

"Who the hell was it Kawaki ?! Just tell me his name. "

I kept listening to most of it with a straight face before coming to the conclusion.

"So it wasn't a dream? "

"What do you mean?! "

"Nothing. I'm fine... I just—"

"And why was that guy with you?"

Boruto asked, his eyebrows cocked up in confusion.
That had me thinking.

"What... Guy? What the hell are you talking about? "

"That guy... Sakomi if I'm correct. He brought you here before he passed out as well and—"

I felt my heart racing. My body reacting on its own.

"Where is right now?! What happened to him?! "
I asked frantically, gripping Boruto a little too tight than I intended to.

"Ow. What the hell are you doin—Hey! "

"I'm... Sorry... " I said, moving away quickly as they all stared at me with worry.

I don't want to be more of a bother to them than I already am.

"Anyways where is he? " I asked, not minding Boruto's suspicious gaze boring holes at me.

"He was transferred to the Konoha hospital as soon as he passed out." My eyes shifted to Mom as she answered.

"Alright. " I turned around to leave only to be stopped by a tight grab on my arm.

"Where the hell are you going?! You should be resting idiot. "

Boruto... This is one of the many times I want to punch this guy in the guts.

"He's right Kawaki. Besides, Naruto-Kun already knew you might be searching for that guy. "

"Yeah. And dad and Uncle Shikamaru are interrogating him currently. So he's instructed us not to let you barge in. "

Shit.

What are they instructing him for?

I hope he doesn't have to suffer because of me.

"Just let me go. I promise I'll be quick and won't leave the house until I'm fully recovered. Besides I need to tell dad all about what happened yesterday. "
