Back in Time to Save You (REWRITING)

Chapter 6

The next day

Boruto's POV

I woke up the next morning at 5.30 am. A little too early, and when I tried falling asleep again, I just couldn't. So I got up brushed my teeth, grabbed the book that I had almost finished and another book, The Tale of the Utterly Gutsy Shinobi of course.

I walked outside of the house and started to walk outside of Konoha and into the deeper forest while reading the thriller novel that I read when I fought Kobe. While walking, I saw a pretty great spot for training my Taijutsu there.

So I walked towards the place and sat under a tree for a bit until I've finished reading it. After finishing the novel, I summoned two clones and said to them "Fight with me and don't hold back. Okay?"

The two of them nodded and we started fighting.

Timeskip to 7.20 

After fighting my clones, I wiped away my sweat. I got up, opened the book titled The Tale of the Utterly Gutsy Shinobi, and started reading it while walking back to the house. 

When I arrived at the house, I walked in, took a shower, got dressed in my outfit from yesterday, ate breakfast with the family, and went to the Hokage tower.

After arriving at the Hokage tower, I walked into the office. Dad looked at me and I said "today is the day that Sarada dies so I'll need to save her but, I'll need an alibi to not be in the village for a while. Maybe a mission? I don't care if it's an A or C rank, just give me a long mission"

Dad nodded in understanding and looked through all of the missions then handed me one. I looked at it the mission while reading it, dad explained the mission details.

"We have found some Hashirama cells and we have kept it in a safe and secure place but it was stolen about a few days ago by 2 rogue shinobis, they are probably hiding in The Land of Silence right about now. 

We're not sure who are the ones that actually stole it but there are a few culprits. All of them are from the Bingo book so remain cautious. 

The first culprit is Nakato Ryuta, he only specializes in Fuinjutsu and he's good in Taijutsu.

The second and the most dangerous one is Kotaro Asaga, he could use Ninjutsu, Taijutsu and he even has an unknown Kekkei Genkai that could copy any Jutsu you throw at him so avoid using too powerful Jutsus or any Jutsu.

Dad gave me their profiles, I read them and put them to memory. I nodded and walked out of the office but before I walked out of the office that called me and gave me a communicating device.

It's pocket-sized and is durable. I thanked dad and walked out of the office, by now I could guess it's around 7.45. I walked back home packed my thing and told everyone in the house that I'll be leaving for a week or so.

I was walking towards Konoha's gates but was stopped by my younger self, Kawaki, and Himawari. I looked at them confused then my younger self spoke and said "Sakomi when you get back, I'll already master the Rasenshuriken and we'll spar. Be careful on the mission"

I nodded "while I'm gone, promise that you'll keep everyone safe, okay? And don't forget to get your little crush her birthday gift" I said teasingly on the last part, he blushed a bit and nodded. 

I looked at Himawari and she gave me a little sunflower then with her cute voice she said "here you go, a sunflower. I picked it for you, and please be careful" she then smiled at me.

I smiled back, grabbed the sunflower, and put it on my left ear then said "thank you Himawari, you're so sweet and cute. I promise I'll be careful on my mission and help your mom whenever you can okay?" she nodded.
