Katherine pretended like she forgot the incident that had happened several days ago. She assumed he had as well. It was normal to accidentally mix up customers' coffee orders. They were just little, everyday mistakes.

He was always there, though. Behind the counter at five pm. And the more Katherine saw him, the more she paid attention to his little tendencies and acts.

When she waited for her coffee, she couldn't help but notice how painstakingly long he took to write a customer's name on their drink, yet his handwriting always came out in this messy, awkward font.

And there was this certain way he looked at every body else, she noticed. Like they were a book and he was a curious reader. He looked at people in the way strangers don't; like he cared.

He looked at people in the same way he had looked at Katherine when he had given her the wrong coffee.

And every time she exited the coffee shop, Katherine couldn't help but study her own name written in the same, messy handwriting. And then she thought of the name tag hanging on his tee shirt.

It read: Finn.
