"Do you know what it's like, Phil?"

He remembered it just like yesterday.

"To wake up and not even remember your own damn name?"

He awoke, not knowing who he was, where he was, or what he was.

"To look at your friends faces, and not remember why they hate you?"

It hurt him, seeing his son actively avoid him.

"To not know why certain places bring you so much sorrow?"

He spends all his days in the sewers now. It's the only place that doesn't bring him any sorrow.

"To see seemingly unbreakable friendships break?"

He tried repairing the two teenagers broken friendship, but that task seemed futile.

"To see the nation that you created only flourish when you're gone?"

He remembers seeing L'manburg grow and flourish under Schlatts rule, and it's even growing more now, under Tubbos.

"To know that everyone is full of hate, anger, regret, and sorrow, and not being able to make things better without making it all worse?"

He tried making Tommy laugh and smile again, but the poor boy just seems broken now.

"To watch your family live on, as if you meant nothing to them?"

He doesn't even know where Techno went. Tommy never wants him around, and Phil hardly ever visits anymore.

"Do you know what it's like, to know that whoever you were was so...so horrible that he doesn't even deserve a fucking gravestone?"

He remembered Tubbos words. "Well, we don't miss you because you're still here, we can still talk to you. Maybe if you were gone, you'd have a gravestone." He knows the teen meant well, but his words really didn't help at all.

"To know that no one misses him?"

No one talks to or about him. No one visits him other than to steal from him.

"To always feel sad, and you don't even know why you're sad?"

The blue doesn't help.

"Do you?"

It's always full.

"You don't."

Before he even holds it.

"But I certainly do."

Is it possible to die once you're already dead?

Ghostbur is wholesome, yeah, but when you really pay attention to what he's saying and how he's saying it, it's pretty clear that he (as a character) has depression.

Especially when he was walking with Tubbo. The quote I used is actually something he said to ghostbur (although I did paraphrase it a bit), just before he gave him the compass I'm pretty sure (idk, I've just been seeing clips).
