CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
Curioss smiled down at her mother as she rested, she knew she was exhausted from her condition.
Her phone light flashed, signalling that she had just received a text.
'The little girl is beautiful, See you soon my Curious Curioss.'
Curioss didn't looked around just incase the person still had their eyes on her.
She gently shook Kaylon. "Hey baby, wake up," Kaylon's eyes fluttered open and she sat up.
"I want you to listen very carefully to me." Kaylon knitted her eyebrows in confusion. "What's wrong?"
"Pull back the blinds a little and tell me what you see, I wanna know everything okay?"
"There's nobody outside, just nurses and doctors," She yawned and walked away from the blinds.
"Shit," She muttered and clicked on his contact. Curioss frowned when he didn't answer on the first ring, nor the second.
A few minutes had passed before he started calling her.
"Wassup, y'all straight?" Tiredness could be heard in his voice.
"He saw Kaylon, Saint he-," Her anxiety was rising, she wanted badly to run out of the hospital but she couldn't, her mother was sleeping and she felt cornered.
Saint furrowed his eyebrows. She never called him Saint before so he knew something was wrong. "Calm down girl, who saw Kaylon?"
"Him, h-he was here, please hurry," She whispered and slightly looked around.
"Don't move, I'm on my way."
"Okay, we're in room two o' fou-" Curioss groaned at the fact that he hung up before she could even finish her sentence, she hated when he did that.
"You okay princess?" She placed her phone down and smiled at her.
Kaylon nodded and rubbed at her eye. "Yes, I had a dream that I went to Disney world and I met Spongebob, Patrick and Gary, but Gary didn't like me though, he was being mean." She slightly frowned.
She chuckled, "Gary a gook, we'on like him anyways."
"Daddy!" Curioss's head immediately shot up. Kaylon got up and ran to get father.
"Let's go." He said in a straight voice, Curioss got up and placed a soft kiss on her mother's forehead.
"You gon be okay mama, just hold on." She whispered.
