"Hyunjin I swear you owe me. I didn't want to volunteer for this crap." Changbin scowled as the taller boy dragged him to the freshman orientation their school was having.
"Come on, you and Chan are the only ones I know in the music department and Chan couldn't make it because he has to finish a project for one of his classes. Now don't scare the future freshmen away." He knew Chan would've came if he asked but he wanted to take this opportunity to spend more time with the older.
Hyunjin was fixing up Changbin's outfit which was unnecessary.
"Can you quit it?" Changbin harshly grabbed the taller's hand as his cheeks flushed red.
"S-Sorry. I'll stop.." Hyunjin pulled his hand away feeling a bit shy. "Look! Freshman! Now be nice!" Hyunjin pointed out two young girls heading their way.
Hyunjin threw his arm around Changbin's shoulders which caused the older's heart to quicken its pace.
"Hello, I'm Chaeyoung and this is Tzuyu. We're interested in the music department."
The two girls introduced themselves to the two boys and Hyunjin was happy to hear Changbin wasn't making rude remarks. Hyunjin knew that the older had changed over time.
Changbin had finished telling them everything they had to know for the music department and Hyunjin was busy in his own little world as he continuously played with Changbin's hair.
"Thanks for helping us out and you two look cute together." One of the girls giggled.
"It's not-."
"Thanks I think we do too." Hyunjin smiled brightly with a tint of blush coloring his cheeks.
Changbin's eyes grew wide as his heart fluttered and cheeks red from the comment the younger had made.
As Changbin was still trying to figure out if he really heard the taller correct something else caught his attention.
"Chaeyoung... Tzuyu... I need to talk to you both.." A girl came up to the other two girls who seemed uneasy and came off shy.
"Of course. Thanks again guys, we'll be looking forward for next year." Chaeyoung said her goodbyes as she wrapped her arm around the uneasy girl's shoulder and walking away with Tzuyu falling behind.
Once the three girls left Changbin's eyes darted towards Hyunjin.
"Do you really think that Hyunjin?" Changbin felt a bit shy for asking.
"Think what?"
"That we look cu-." Changbin stopped what he was saying as his heart began to race once Hyunjin lifted his chin to face him.
"Yeah... Let's grab a bite from the cafeteria, I'm starving." Hyunjin grabbed Changbin's hand and pulled them away from the booth.
Before they reached to the cafeteria Changbin stopped which caught Hyunjin's attention.
"Is something wrong Bin?" Hyunjin turned to face the older who still had his hand in his.
"I like you.." Changbin mumbled loud enough for the taller to hear, finally building up the courage to confront the boy he likes.
