iKON is garnering a worldwide attention even before their official debut! Billboard lists iKON on the 'Top 5 K-Pop Artists to Watch in 2015'.

[엑스포츠뉴스=정희서 기자] YG's upcoming new group iKON was chosen as one of the "Top 5 K-Pop Artists to Watch in 2015."
On Jan 28 (local date), Billboard announced its list based on chart scores, fans' response and YouTube viewing rate. iKON, mentioned first on the list, was the only group that did not even make an official debut. It proves their high popularity even before the debut.
Billboard wrote, "With their debut single still in the works, iKON members BOBBY and B.I have been garnering attention for verses in tracks like HI SUHYUN's "I'M DIFFERENT " and EPIK HIGH's "BORN HATER," the latter track being a breakthrough moment in cementing BOBBY as an up-and-coming MC to keep an eye on."
Their talents are already recognized on the show "MIX & MATCH" and by getting involved in song production of fellow YG artists. Billboard wrote that they will be the group that will heat up the music world in 2015.
iKON had their first official performance when they opened BIGBANG's 5 Japan Dome Tour on Nov 15 and 16 last year. They showed significant improvement every time they showcased their performance, proving their extraordinary talents even before the official debut.
YG Entertainment's Executive Producer YANG HYUN SUK recently commented that iKON's album is nearing completion.
