Its been 4 days since I came here in Central Davao. So far, I like it here. But I can't help but feel like an alien to this place especially when they speak in Bisaya.

Manila is full of traffics, hassles and accidents.

Duh.

I am currently staying in a house not far from the school I am coordinating with. It was so cool because the school is just in front of the house.

I am assigned to a local school in Bangkal, Davao City. Dalawa ang level na kine-cater nila — elementary and high school. But the school admin chose to split the two in half to manage the students well.

I like the school, actually. They cater students with special needs. The other students were also brilliant and talented based on the pictures and videos shown to me.

What really fascinates me is that the teachers are great in sign language! May mga estudyante kasi sila na hearing impaired and so, to cater their needs, the school officers are studying sign language to communicate with them.

The high school campus doesn't have any gym.

To be honest, I really like it here. We were in— what place was that again?

Ah, Mintal, Catalunan Grande and People's Park, I think?

There were so many trees here. Although may ibang kinailangan tanggalin for road reconstruction but still— I like the fresh air coming from the greeneries.

Anyway, back to the school program, nandito ako ngayon sa school campus. The teachers who were with me are facing their computers, some were chatting, checking papers or drinking their cold cups of coffee.

I was in my chair, typing something for the upcoming school year activities.

A teacher came towards my table and handed me a pack of durian candies.
