The head-spinning tale of murder, brotherhood, chaos, and mass-hysteria is told through a series of suspenseful interviews given by those who experienced the horrors firsthand and miraculously survived.
𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐞: Realistic, Suspense, Thriller
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: This story is best comparable to the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding and the Hunger Games franchise.
𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰: This book takes world-building to a whole new level. The back-and-forth timeline and rapid POV changes come off as confusing at first. But around the third chapter, it all falls into a smooth and easy to follow format. The descriptions of gore and overall imagery left me disturbed (in a good way) and I literally could not put this book down until it was finished. I also felt super guilty for being attracted to like the worst person in the book but it is what it is.
