Aizawa had been on his way to pick Shinsou up from the study session when he heard the call, and his heart leapt into his throat. Shinsou had never called him dad before. At least, not out loud. He ran towards Aimi's room, mind running through all the scenarios of what could be happening.

He got to the room right as Taurus stuck the needle in Shinsou's neck, causing the boy to cry out. He could see Aimi on the ground behind them, unconscious. He could also see the schoolwork all over the floor, strewn around the room. How long had Taurus been there?

Aizawa wrapped his scarf around Taurus's wrist, pulling it and forcing him to drop Shinsou. The boy scrambled away, going to Aimi. "Well well, looks like Papa joined the party." Taurus grinned, looking over at the pro. "Keep your hands off my son." "Make me."

Aizawa pulled the villain closer, kicking him out the door in an attempt to put some distance between him and the two kids. Aimi couldn't help Shinsou, and there was no telling what Taurus had drugged Shinsou with.

Shinsou had turned Aimi onto her back before the funny feeling hit, making him lightheaded. The room kept spinning, and he felt sick. It was how he felt back at the orphanage, when Cindy dragged him to the other room. He really didn't like needles.

Aimi groaned, shifting from side to side. "Aimi." Shinsou whispered, grabbing her hand as she woke up. He could barely make her out, his vision a giant blur. He hoped Aizawa was okay.

"…Shinsou?" Aimi croaked, sitting up. "Yeah." He nodded, but immediately regretted his decision. "Sho? What's wrong?" Aimi asked, making Shinsou sit against the bed. "Taurus drugged me." "What?! Where is he?" "Fighting Aizawa. We…we need to get out of here." Shinsou shivered, holding his head in his hands.

"Sho, you need help. You're drugged." "I've been through it before. I'll be okay." "Drugs don't work like that!" "It's the stuff from before. I'm used to it. But, if you want me to be able to get out of here without you dragging me, we need to go now."

Aimi huffed, but lifted him up anyway, slinging one of his arms over her shoulder. He stumbled along, depending on Aimi to keep him up. The halls were a wreak, evidence from the fight. Where were the two fighters?

"Shinsou!" Mic exclaimed as he turned the corner, running towards the purple haired boy. "Hizashi?" Shinsou whispered, unable to see the man. He saw a blur of colors, but nothing that could make him certain. He wasn't even sure he heard the man.

Arms wrapped around his shoulders, pulling him against a firm chest. He could feel a leather jacket against his arm, and he sighed. It was Mic, after all. Maybe he knew where Aizawa was. "We need to go. Are you okay, Aimi?" Midnight's smooth voice infiltrated the haze covering Shinsou's brain.

"I'm fine. Just a bruise." Aimi said as Mic picked Shinsou up. The boy didn't protest, leaning into Mic's chest. He was cold, and scared, and worried for Aizawa. He was more than happy to let someone else take over.

Shinsou drifted in and out of consciousness, torn between fighting the drug and letting himself slip away. He could hear lots of voices, some screaming, some barking orders. He could hear a fight somewhere, and briefly wondered if Aizawa was there.

Shinsou opened his eyes at one point, seeing the broken buildings around him. There was debris everywhere, and people were scrambling to exits. There weren't very many pro-heroes around, which he supposed was a good thing. That usually meant they were in the fight. Aizawa would have backup.

The next thing he realized is he was being set down, laid on some sort of…board? It felt really soft for a board, though. Hands were on his arms, turning them and pressing against his wrists. He could hear voices, clamoring around him.

"Hizashi!" A familiar voice called, breaking Shinsou from his trance. He cracked his eyes, spotting Aizawa in the crowd. "Shota." Mic sighed, hugging the black haired. "Where's Shinsou?" "The ambulance. It's not good, Shota."

Aizawa went over to the ambulance, climbing in. "Shinsou." He whispered, grabbing the boy's hands. "Dad." "I'm here, Shinsou. I'm here. You're going to be fine." Shinsou let the words slide over him, comforting him in a way he couldn't remember feeling.

Shinsou drifted off, relieved that his dad was okay. He could feel Aizawa still holding on, making sure his son was still there. They both knew what happened today was dangerous. Taurus had attacked Shinsou on school grounds. He knew where Shinsou was, and he wasn't afraid of getting caught.
