Yare POV.
When I got home after work I ate my food and then got in the shower. I decided to watch a little Disney+ to help me fall asleep.
As I was about to fall asleep, I got a text message. I was wondering who tf it was because my bestfriends sleep and I don't like people so who the hell could this be.
I looked at my phone and it said Chauncey😍.
He asked if we was still coming to the party tomma and I told him I'll have to check in wit my friends.
I told him goodnight and went to sleep.
•The next day•
I woke up and it was quite meaning my mom and dad had to be at work.
You see I'm an only child and I love it.
Once I got up and did my hygiene stuff I called my besties to see if they were up and ready to go to the mall.
Today I was picking everybody up because I know they not gon feel like driving.
I picked Lani up since she lived closer to me. " Hey bitch" she said
"Wassup hoe"
"What we doing today"
"We goin to the mall and shop then go to the food court to get food"
On the way to get Aubri and Tay, me and Lani was just blasting music.
When Aubri and Tay got in we headed to the mall. Idk how ima ask Lani and Aubri about the party. I might ask them as soon as we walk in so they can find what they're wearing.
"So guys I met this boy yesterday and he invited us to a party. Would y'all like to go"
"Fashoo. You know I'm down!" Lani said
"I'll go if y'all go" Tay said
"Now you know how I feel about parties"
"Ik Aubri but you know Tay the same way and she going. Can you please come, PLEASEEE?" I pleaded
"Fine, I'll go only because all y'all goin"
Here's the thing, me and Lani loves to go out and party. Lani is also shy she just don't show it as much as Tay and Aubri do. We're the social ones of the group. But Aubri and Tay is a different story. They are so antisocial and love to be in the house.
"Ok so let's go find some outfits and then go to the food court!"
After we went shopping, we went to go get Chick-fil-A at the food court. We got our food, sat down and talked for a little until these boys walked up to us.
I look up and it was Chauncey and his friends from yesterday.
"Wassuh ma" Chauncey said
"Hey pooh" I said
"So have y'all made a decision yet?"
"We have actually. We coming but what time do it start?"
"It start at 10"
"Ight bet, we'll see y'all there"
"So you not gon introduce us to your friends?" Aubri rude ass asked
"Aw my bad. This is Ced, Siah, and Jay"
I don't know if it was just me that noticed but Ced was staring Aubri down. But Aubri being the stubborn person she is, she didn't even notice.
Siah was checking Lani out too. They was just looking at each other. Then Lani winked at him and got back on her phone.
Now Jay was staring at Tay until she blushed and looked away. Then he did a little chuckle.
"Why you look away ma" Jay asked
"Idk" she softly spoke.
Now I am very flabbergasted because no guy has ever made Tay that quiet.
We talked for a while until it was time to go and get ready for the party.
Once I dropped everybody off, I went home to take a nap before it was time to go. When I woke up I seen I had a couple more hours before I had to get ready so i door dashed me some Zaxby's.
Once my food got here I went back upstairs and watched Vampire Diaries. This is like my 5th time rewatching this.
I got done wit my food and got in the shower.
"ALL THAT I KNOW IS IT WAS INSIDE ME!"
I sung "Hit different" by SZA to the top of my lounges.
I stayed in for about 30 more minutes and then got out and brushed my teeth then got ready for the party.
I got a matching PINK set out my dresser then I put lotion all over my body.
Once I did all that, I did my hair, put my lashes and lipgloss on and texted the gc to see if they were ready.
Once they replied wit yea I got my keys and my purse and headed out the door.
