The war on insurgency in Northern Nigeria has created victims across different social demographic, however the voice of most vulnerable victims i.e. women and children have been largely muted or ignored by popular narrative. Borrowing inspiration from accounts of true life victims, this fiction story is giving women and children a voice as it narrates the experience of Sekinat a young widow and mother of Halima and Saratu as they try to eke out an existence in a backwater town called Ngamdu,in Borno State. Follow the emotionally stirring story of Sekinat as she struggles against social inequality,and other challenges to fulfil her late husband's wish to give Halima and Saratu the best education while contending against insecurity and assorted dilemmas which confront her along the way. Its a story of Challenges and Redemption and how a determined and tenacious woman managed to surmount them all in a bid to give her daughters a fair chance on life.
