A shy reference librarian, and a college student who was disowned when she refused to submit to conversion therapy, meet in a bookstore. He's been waiting his whole life for her. Meanwhile, she's starting her whole life over. What ensues between the two is magic... Given that he's about to become her tutor in the magickal and erotic arts, that's only to be expected. THIS VERSION OF ANCILLA IS SERIALIZED TO MAKE THE CHAPTERS SHORTER AND EASIER TO DIGEST FOR THE SAKE OF ACCESSIBILITY. One reason I uploaded the manuscript of Ancilla to Wattpad in the first place was to make it accessible. The ebook and the print book are available for purchase, and the link for this is on my Wattpad bio somewhere, but not everybody can afford to buy books. I feel very strongly about book accessibility. Anybody who wants to access a book and read a book should be able to. Period. If they can't afford to buy the book, they should be able to get the text somehow. So here it is. A reader pointed out that long chapters are not friendly to all readers. Some readers only have a few minutes at a time to read. They only access Wattpad while they're waiting for a bus to arrive, or when they're on a five-minute break at work. Then there are the readers who have ADHD, dyslexia, or other neurodivergencies that make sitting down to read a long chapter awkward or even downright miserable... It isn't nice to exclude readers from accessing texts. So here is a version of Ancilla that has been broken down into shorter sections. The original novel is roughly 330 pages long in its print edition and has long chapters with content that is structured by the sephiroth on the Tree of Life; each chapter has "spicy" stuff in it that's been likewise informed by what sphere my protagonist is on. In the soundbite edition, I'll designate sections that have "spicy" material with an asterisk (*). Other content declarations/warnings are discussed in the first section of the book.
