Chapter 3
Alec groaned as he woke up. He was still exhausted from the night before. He was hoping it was a nightmare until his eye fell upon the sleeping girl next to him.
"Ugh," he groaned as he got up from the bed to take a shower.
-After the shower-
"They could've at least put a couch so we wouldn't have to be forced to sleep together. I mean I could've slept on the floor," Alec thought as he was leaving the bathroom and she was still sleeping soundly. Alec was hesitant if he should wake her but everyone was waiting for them downstairs since they were "newlyweds"
Alec let out a groan and tapped Victoria who instantly got up surprised. Victoria blinked twice to make sure she was actually seeing what she saw.
"Can you get ready," Alec asked firmly?
Victoria nodded and went to shower while Alec was waiting.
"I forgot my clothes," Victoria groaned and she knew he was still outside but ended up wearing her pajamas and rushed to get her clothes.
"What is she doing," Alec thought as he saw her rush back to the bathroom.
"I'm ready," Victoria called as she left the bathroom.
Alec didn't bother replying and started walking out the door to which Victoria followed him to the ops room.
"Alec, fun night," Raj laughed which got him a death glare.
Victoria couldn't help but wonder "What's that suppose to mean" but gasped "they meant, uh"
"Good morning to you both," greeted an elderly Clave member.
"Morning," they both replied
"Now you know, we must get back to Idris," replied the clave members as they decided to leave.
"We will be leaving as well, Max might need help in the Mumbai Institute," Robert laughed.
"I think he might've caused some problems, Maryse replied which got a laugh from Jace and Izzy.
Victoria couldn't help but feel so out of place.
"Before I leave, I would like to speak with you," Maryse told Victoria to which she nodded.
"Make sure breakfast is ready, we won't be long," Maryse told the other shadowhunters.
"Moms going to eat her alive," laughed Izzy to which Jace and Alec ignored.
"How was the night," Jace asked seriously.
"I fell asleep," Alec yawned.
Maryse was talking to Victoria outside of the Ops room "If I find out you broke any rules while being in the institute, I promise I'll make your life a living hell,"
