the good old days (mull x joshdub)

the stray

 josh POV: i had just woken up when i herd a sound at the front door i looked out of the peek hole to see who it was i didn't see anyone so i opened the door i saw a dog run in the house it looked hurt like it was a stray or he ran away from his abusful owners " what are you doing here little guy" i said to him all he did was cuddle next to me as if he was really scared of something mully walked down the stairs and saw the dog he gasped in shock of what he just saw. "sparky" mully said quietly the dog went straight to him " do you know him" i ask " ya he was my old dog i had to get rid of him because my parents kept abusing him i gave him to an owner who seemed pretty nice but he doesn't look ok" he said back while sobing he cuddle his dog while i looked around to see any sign of anyone dropping him off or anything i then found a note on the door step and read it out loud to mully " hi there its the owners of sparky we know that you loved this dog but you had to get rid of him we don't want to keep you from having your childhood dog from you also we don't know what happened to him we went on a trip for a while and we hired a pet sitter but when we got back we found a note on the counter saying that the pet sitter had to do something and he wrote this two days before we got home we went to go check on sparky and he seemed to be beaten we are thinking that the pet sitter did this and we are not sure how to deal with it so we hope that the dog has realized who you are mully and i hope that you have a wonderful day and we are very sorry for not taking better care of him signed the owners" mully started to cry more and more through out the note i then found more writing on the back saying who the pet sitter was i gasped in shock and dropped the paper " what is it" mully asked " i-i its the pet sitter" i said "who was the pet sitter" he asked me " i it was gaege" i said back mully started hugging sparky as he couldn't believe how gaege had treated him i went over and comforted him as he calmed down " i will not stand for this" mully said " what are you gonna do" i asked " as soon as gaege gets out of jail im going to give him a piece of my mind" he said back.\

mully POV: i cant believe how gaege treated my dog he will pay " I'm gonna go wash sparky up a little" i said to josh " ok" he said back i headed upstairs to go wash him and bandage him up about an hour later i went back downstairs to go show josh how clean sparky looked josh called him over and he went he started playing with sparky as i made breakfast i made something for sparky to we all sat down for breakfast and ate as soon as we were done we went to the pet store to get sparky a bed some food a food and water bowl and some toys we payed and went home and set everything up we let sparky sleep as we cleaned up a bit we finished and started watching a movie sparky noticed and hoped onto my lap and cuddled with my and josh both of them were so cute i just wanted to cuddle them forever josh fell asleep in the middle of the movie and so did sparky soon my eyes felt heavy and i thought to myself " what an awesome day" then fell asleep
