- third-person p.o.v -

"I'm telling you right now, Wilbur," Schlatt started, "I'm not Wheels."

Wil got close to his mic and whispered, "I have a feeling he's Wheels, chat... DID YOU JUST FUCKING BANANA BREAD?"

Wilbur was currently streaming SpyParty with Jschlatt. It was a game that Schlatt had made a few videos on, with people such as Travis and Carson, and now, here he was with Wilbur. Wilbur needed a break from roleplaying Minecraft with a bunch of people. He just wanted to chill out with an old friend (whilst Carson sat and laughed at them in their VC).

He decided to take the chance and shoot the wheelchaired character, certain that it was Schlatt for the millionth time, and sure enough, it was. Wilbur smiled as he leaned back in his chair, looking at his second monitor. "You make this way too easy, Schlatt."

Carson burst out into laughter when he saw that Wil had won the round. Again.

"You know, it's kind of ableist that you keep shooting the guy in the wheelchair," Schlatt mumbled.

"The point of the game is to shoot whichever person you picked! The only reason I keep shooting him is because you keep picking him!" Wilbur shouted, trying to hold in his laughter. "I don't know how much longer I can play this- I might end stream soon, honestly."

Carson furrowed his brows in confusion, not that Wilbur or Schlatt could see him. "You haven't been streaming long."

He was right; when he went to check the current time of his stream, Wil realized that he had only been streaming for about half an hour. He shrugged slightly to himself. "I'm just a little tired, I guess... Sapnap's streaming. We could raid him."

"Orrrrr  Vee's gonna start streaming in about 8 minutes. We could stay on until then and raid her," Carson suggested.

"Vee?" Wilbur asked. "Is she back home?"

"No, Eret helped her move her setup here the other day."

Wil got quiet. He was confused. "What?" he mumbled. "Why? I thought she was just staying there for awhile."

Carson chuckled softly. "Well, she is- She will be here for awhile. She's moving in, actually. Did you not... did you not know?" When Wilbur didn't say anything after that, Carson figured that he probably shouldn't have said anything. "I'm sorry, I thought she told you, Wilbur-"

Wilbur quickly went on deafen and ended the stream after that.

"Why wouldn't she tell me?" he asked, his head in his hands.

After Wilbur ended stream, he went to the sleepy boys, and Tubbo, for help. They always had great advice for him- Well, Phil and Techno did. Phil bit his lip. "Maybe she was waiting to tell you, Wil-"

"But why would she move in with them in the first place? She has a flat with Elena! Why does she need to live with Cooper?"

"Well," Techno started, his monotone voice reaching Wilbur's ears, "Travis, Noah, and Carson live there, too. Don't they?"

"But so does Cooper! If she moves in- which she is, apparently!- he's just gonna get all into her again! And what if- what if she falls for him, too? What am I gonna do then?"

The boys frowned. They had to admit, they hated seeing Wilbur like this.

Tubbo spoke up. "She chose you, though, Wilbur. Remember? She loves you. Not Cooper."

"Yeah!" Tommy shouted. "Even when she had the chance to pick Cooper, she still chose you, didn't she?"

That was right. She did. Even when getting to know everything about Cooper and spending a lot of time with him, in the end, she still chose Wilbur. But Wilbur had no way of knowing whether that would change or not. It was times like these where he really wish he could predict the future.

"Look, I've met Vee," Techno said. "Now, I don't know her as much as you do, but I trust her. I don't think she'd let anything bad happen without telling you. I'm guessing there's a good reason as to why she hasn't told you."

"Maybe, just maybe, she knew this would be your reaction," Phil suggested.

Wilbur sighed. Deep down, he knew that his friends were probably right. He just didn't want to believe it.

"You should just talk to her, Wil."

"Tommy's right," Tubbo mumbled. "You should."

Suddenly, Wilbur had an idea. "Wait." He sat up in his chair, quickly opening Google on another tab. "You're right, Tommy."

"I'm always right," Tommy said, trying to brighten the mood.

Phil winced as he heard all of the typing coming from Wilbur's side of the call. "Wil... what're you doing?"

"I'm gonna talk to Vee. I'm going to America."

Everyone else in the call had very similar reactions:

         Phil. "Wilbur, no-"

         Techno. "Just call her-"

Tommy.  "No, that is not what I meant at all-"

          Tubbo. "No, no, bad idea-"

Wilbur rolled his eyes as he looked for a plane ticket to America. "I'm not gonna just sit back and let her move in with Cooper. I'll have Niki come in and house sit- It's a great idea!"

"No, Wil," Phil sighed. "Please think about this."

"I am! I'm thinking about it right now," Wilbur said. "I'd get to see her, tell her that moving in with them is a horrible idea-"

Techno interrupted. "Please just talk to her first. Over the phone. I'm begging."

"Text her. Call her. Anything but flying out to America-"

Wilbur sighed, pulling his phone from his pocket. "Fine. I will."

The rest of the boys let out a sigh of relief as Wilbur pulled off his headset. He tried calling, but it immediately went to voicemail. He quickly went to Twitch to see if she was still streaming, but she wasn't. What the hell?

Wil put his headset back on. "If I give one of you her number, would you try to call her?"

"That's an odd request," Phil chuckled.

"Please. It went straight to voicemail."

"Is she still streaming?" Tubbo asked.

Wilbur shook his head, even if the others couldn't see him. "No. She isn't."

They all got quiet. The Sleepy Boys Inc. (and Tubbo, of course) seemed to silently agree that it was a bit... weird for it to go straight to voicemail if she wasn't streaming.

Tommy broke the silence. "I'll give her a call if you need me to, Wil," he spoke softly, the care evident in his voice.

The rest of the boys stayed quiet while Tommy gave Vee a call. Techno suggested that Wilbur text her as well. And when he did, the message came back as 'not delivered.' When Tommy came undeafened, he said it went right to voicemail for him, too.

"Maybe her phone's dead?" Tubbo asked, trying to look on the positive side of things.

But all of them knew that that couldn't be the case.
