Chapter 18:

I love you too

I am finally able to go home! God I am so looking forward to finally sleeping in my own bed and eating my mom's cooking.

Me and Cedric decided to stay friends. I got his number, but I will probably never text him.

Just, Just no

"Welcome home baby" my mom said opening the door for me

It felt so good finally being home.

I got my suitcase up the stairs with the help of my mom.

Although I can walk now and everything, I should still try to stay calm and not do any exercise or run for another 2 weeks

I told my Mom I was going to Louis'.

I didn't tell her about what went down between us.

Or that me and Cedric kissed

I just didn't.

I walked over to his house.

I had texted his sister Millie the day before and asked her if Louis would be home tomorrow.

And he was.

I knocked on the door.

Millie answered.

"Hey Rose" Millie said half-whispering

"Hey, is Louis home?" I asked quietly so that Louis doesn't know I am here

"Yeah, I'm going to tell him to come outside" Millie answered closing the door.

I stood behind nervously

I didn't really have a plan yet on how to tell him how this happened

But I'm just gonna go for it

I heard footsteps coming down the stairs

Oh god oh god oh god

Here we go

"Millie, I swear if this is going to be another one of ur stupid pranks I-" Louis said

And then he opened the door

"What are you doing here?" Louis asked

"Well, I owe you an explanation and an apology" I said

"Great, well what I saw was enough of an explanation" Louis said closing the door but I stopped it from closing

"Louis please, just let me explain and the you can hate me forever and never talk to me again. I just don't want to go through life knowing I could have done something more" I said

Louis opened the door back up

He stared into my eyes

Although he tried to look tough, I could see it in his eyes he was soft and sad

"Alright, so me and Cedric were sitting in the Cafeteria. Right. So we were talking and then he looked at me and leaned in to kiss me. I didn't want to kiss him and I never told him it was okay to do that. That was the first time that ever Happened. Then you came in. I tried to pull apart but he was holding the side of my face tightly. And I wanted to pull apart but I couldn't" I explained

My eyes started to get watery

"And, and I saw u there. Everything I wanted to do in that moment was just run to you and hug you. I- I - I wanted to explain everything to you" tears started running down my cheeks

"And I ran after you because I knew how much I hurt you. I love you Louis. I always have. And I am standing here begging you to believe me. I love you more than anything else in the world.  And I am so sorry for what happened" I said crying

I looked at Louis whose eyes were also a bit watery

He opened his arms for a hug

Being in his arms made me feel safe and happy

He kissed the top of my head

"I love you too" he whispered in my ear
