"And into the forest I go,
to lose my mind and find my soul."- John Muir.

She was growing more and more frustrated at the trembling of her hands. She barely managed to clasp the simple necklace around her neck. The gold necklace was light and the diamond leaf branch fell perfectly into the middle of her protruding collar bones. It was dainty and simply perfect as it sat on her raised breast bone plate. The earrings which she currently was in a losing battle against were of the same design. Smaller gold leaf branches with diamond leafs.

"Let me." A voice she could recognise in a crowd said from behind her.

It surprised her just a little, she was so lost in her nerves she hadn't heard him come up behind her. Didn't feel him before he had even made it to the doorway. She didn't speak, cleared her throat as she watched his reflection in the mirror silently. Her eyes were glued to him. A physique that rivalled gods, long legs, lean sturdy arms. A ripped torso covered by his crisp white shirt and black jacket. Skin smooth, tanned that tasted sinful under her lips. Muddy brown eyes that she found herself lost in, full lips a shade of blush rose, soft and velvety. High cheek bones and an angular jaw that was freshly shaved. She shivered at the memory of the four day stubbly he had got rid of for today, the way it deliciously scratched against her inner thighs. Defined curls that sat as a styled mop on his head. If she dared she knew she could happily spend the rest of her days running her hand through them without ever getting bored.

"Let me help." He could her the way his voice deepened, yet inwardly cringed at how it sounded rougher.

He didn't wait for a reply. A knowing smile full of secrets on his lips as his eyes mirrored hers, darkening in colour. He plucked the first earring from her hands, revelling in the way that smallest of touches sent tingles up his arm. She stood stock still as he reached up and placed the first earring in. Watching her he let one hand skirt across the nape of her neck and the length of her shoulders as he walked around her.

She was perfect. To him. For him. He let his eyes wander her frame, leisurely, knowing that she knew what he was doing. The white dress silky she had on gave off the vintage style she loved. The buttons on the back reminded him of her wedding dress. The deep v in the back letting him feel the heat of her even through his shirt. He could tell she wore no bra underneath, material bunched underneath each breast in creases and cupped them before they got eaten up by the only fitted part of the dress, across her midriff to just above her waist  before it flowed out. And a slit ran up to just her knees with small ruffles on both sides. The low cut in the front showed off her collar bones and the dainty branch with diamond leaves that fell between them.

She was holding her breath. Played along with his games of senses as he walked around her like prey. Picking up the second earring he put it on her, before standing behind her. His hand dropping to her waist where she could feel the heat radiating off of him and the strength in his hand as he held her securely. His breath falling in her exposed shoulder and back, as the hand by his side plated the game of sensuality. Starting from the tip of her ring finger, over the simple wedding band, up her hand and arm leaving goosebumps in its trail. Right up it her shoulder before taking the same road down. Her chest rose up and down quicker. Her gaze held his as so many promises and unsaid words passed through them.

She had becomes his weakness. And he was afraid, and there were so many other things he wanted to tell her, explain to her. He wanted to explore the depths of the smokeless fire between them. Step into a world that consisted of just them, and pass time. But first he wanted to shift paradigms with just the two of them, and learn her body until the morning sky. He bent, leaving a kiss where in her neck, just at above where it joined her shoulder.
