I write only when I'm really emotional. My feelings are all over the place and I'm frustrated, but it's what made this one shot come about. I have been reading wayyy too many sad books recently and really needed this. The idea sparked from books combined and especially one that will stick with me. This one shot is written mostly as a flashback.

One heart, one love, one destiny. -Bob Marley

Fate had a fucking funny way of working. Ghost rolled onto his back sated from once again being able to hold Raye in his arms. The woman who tugged at his heartstrings. Six months later he didn't think he would find her let alone promise this time to make her his.

The past six months had been hell for Raye. The one night stand in Paris was her first and last. A hopeless romantic she though she would wake up in the arms of Ghost. Instead she woke up sore and full to an empty bed. It broke her ever so slightly. She spent the next few months comparing every guy to him and the way he had made her feel.

But the hell of the last two weeks seemed worth it. It led him back to her, and as she lay in his arms, head resting on his chest she couldn't be happier for the absolute shit she was put through. His arms held her flush against him as she lazily drew the outline of his fairly new chest tattoo. She didn't know yet if she forgave him,  although she new he was it since that night.

Raye sat in the coffee shop inside the airport. Her flight cancelled which meant her final drafts to be published in the newspaper would have to be emailed. All she wanted at this point was her comfy bed waiting for her in Portland. Her body was stiff from the hounding she had done for the story she now held. It would make her career.

Ghost sat in the corner of the shop, back against the wall. He was alert of his surroundings, of the movement of the people around him. His flight to Portland cancelled he felt the weight of his teams last mission on his shoulders. After a successful mission they all split taking different flights from different countries home. He was stuck in Paris while most likely four of them were already at base reporting back.

The evening was getting dark. Raye knew in a minute or so she would have to get up and leave. Packing her things away she got up, carrying her bags making her move to leave. Looking around she noticed the empty cafe except for a muscular form at the back.

The man looked like a buff God. Muscles bulged from under his black shirt. He had on black trousers that seemed to somehow restrains toned muscular legs. His look was finished off with combat boots. Two dog tags sat around his neck. He was pale with striking ocean blue eyes, and hair slightly long that you could tell the slight wave in his hair.

She was curious as to why he sat alone. But more as to why she felt a pull towards a complete stranger. She felt hot and warm. And to be honest it freaked her out. As if losing control of her own body she strode towards him, condemning her irrational recklessness to hell.

Ghost kept his smirk at bay. Curiosity sparked in the doe eyes of the woman striding towards him. She turned him on he wouldn't lie. She had great assets front and behind. Curves in the right places, with wide hips and the tiniest belly it was hard to tell out. She was drop dead gorgeous with the a makeup free face. Her jeans hugged her ass and he cami did nothing to leave her cleavage to his imagination.

His plans of remaining until a flight got sorted out seemed to have been thrown out the window.

"Well considering we're the only two I can see sitting here I'm gonna go ahead and say that your flight was to Portland too."
