Toritsuka POV
I don't see (Y/N) at school so I asked Kaidou. He told me that the teacher said she out sick in the hospital. He also told me they made a gift basket. It was his idea he doesn't tell me that but it seemed obvious with him saying certain things. I offered to take it to her but he said hairo wanted to give her a pep talk.
I took a train to the hospital. I saw hairo bunny hopping with the gift basket. I got there quickly and asked some ghost where her room was. I went to see her laying there looking pretty. I also saw her guardian spirit thinking it now. I never saw her before. It was a beautiful woman and she seemed like she was from old times.
"Is she okay?" I asked her spirit
" You can see me? I never had someone see me. Or even talk to me. She not really okay." She revealed
" What do you mean by that." I shot
" I mean I'm a guardian spirit most people don't see- oh you mean her. Right, right She was cursed." She spilled
"But she is good right?" I continued
"For now yes but she will be dead in a couple of years if this keeps up is what the doctors are saying." She announced with no emotion.
"What do you mean she'll die?" I spat
" I been also talking to her mother's guardian spirit and we think the curse seems to put her in small stressful situations and build up the stress. It doesn't let go of the stress. It keeps building up to an unhealthy amount. The doctor also said people with this type of stress usually lose or pull out their hair. Get more wrinkles than they should but she not showing anything like that. You see two years ago she was bolder, less shy, and more outgoing. Now she lets the world push her around and gets hit at anything throw her way. Since she saw you she has been calmer and started to smile again." She continued
" Why tell me all of this is that anything I can really do to stop her from drying?" I questioned
" Cause I have no one to talk to and you asked. plus you may be the solution. It's a theory but if you spent enough time with the curse may wear off on its own." She said and I nodded in response.
"And how long would that be?" I asked
"5-10 years" She responded
"Is that a shorter way? " I ask
" Yeah maybe but want to see a love story here. I just want a happy ending for her. You can spend as much time as possible with her. If the curse works like I think it works then it's only a temporary solution." She explains
" Then I will try to help by doing that for now. I have more important questions." I stated
"Of course ask away! It's fun having someone to talk to! That's not the same circle of guardians." She shrieked
" What are her measurements?" I asked
" What?" She asked
" Bust, waist, hip-"I continued
" Never mind I find some else to save her." She said judging me.
" No I will try to save her but I need to tell me if I do something uncalled for." I started
" It's pretty obvious if something is uncalled for. If you think should I do this five-time or you like the situation a little too much." She described
" Ok I got it I will take care of (Y/N)," I added
" I will be watching you." She also added
" Damn" I mumbled
" What were you thinking about?" (Y/N) guardian's spirit asked. I saw ( Y/N)open her eyes.
"Toritsuka what are doing here?" She said in a very soft voice and smiled.
"I came to see if you're ok. Then I finally saw your guardian spirit. She wonders around a lot. We have been talking about you." I said why can't she just stay wandering around. Then Hairo came out of nowhere. I forgot he was coming here too.
"Beat that sickness it's just a matter of mind!" He yelled
" Are the class rep?" She asked in a soft voice. She sounds sick.
" The class was worried when they heard you out sick. So they sent me to check on you!"Hairo and give her the gift basket. Then explained she looked at the basket for a minute.
"Thank you but I don't need this stuff." She said to Hairo which started a small tug of war between her and Hairo. Hairo win by pushing it back at her.
" It came from their hearts!"Hairo said with his flaming passion. He soon left and her mother soon came into the room.
" Hi I'm toritsuka I go to the same school as your daughter and we live in the same neighborhood," I said as her mom walked into the room and looked at me.
" Oh, it's nice to meet you. She being discharged so we have to go. To you want a ride to your house." Her mom offered
" Yes thank you," I said as I thought her mom is pretty hot too. She got up taking the cords off her. I helped her up. We all walked to the car.
" Make should you take it easy." Her mom told her as she walked. We got to the car and she asked me more about guardian spirits. I told her about mine it was embarrassing. especially compared to hers. When they got near my house I hopped out.
I should go to her house in the morning to see how is she doing. If she feeling ok I take her somewhere like the movies. Like a date cause I need to spend a lot of time with her.
"What are you thinking about?" (Y/N) guardian's spirit asked me.
" Why are you here?" I asked her
"I said I watch you." She responded
" I thought you meant when I was with her?"I questioned
"You're going to be with her a lot so I don't see the difference." She said
" What if something happens to her and you're not there!" I asked
" Now I can just possess you and run to her." She says. I think she is a bit scary.
