14: Within Reach

"Hm? Itadori's accepted? Good for him. I'll arrange his dorm and uniform immediately." I turned my phone to loud-speakers and continued packing up my clothes.

Later, I'll be leaving for Macao.

This may sound off, but even if Sukuna is officially considered to be incarnated now and is back to the world; I, Abe Sayuri, 27, am going on a short trip despite these 'important' times. Yeah, I'm going overseas --- a short leave from my teaching duties.

The reason? Well, aside from Sukuna being interested in me and all the things he kept on saying --- which I got fed up with; the good news is that I'm not hearing him in my head anymore.

Ever since Itadori became his vessel, his voice never bothered me again. I'm finally at peace except for the fact that the curses around me have become more hostile. If Sukuna was indeed the one who cursed me, this is probably happening because he's now back? Anyway, what's important is that he's now gone in my head.

This event calls for a celebration, and I'll do my best not to talk to him anymore.

"Put him on Megumi's next door, okay?" Satoru resumed talking.

"Sure, anything else?"

"And add a hoodie on his uniform, he's a hoodie-type of kid."

"Got it."

"Sukuna mentioned you earlier, by the way. He was asking where you are." He said with an intriguing tone. "Our spirit seems to have a crush on you, Yuri...he went on a roll when I said you don't plan on coming back again. He's hilarious!"

I kept nodding on the other side, actually not paying attention to him anymore. Is it really necessary for Sukuna to be mentioned?

"Don't tell him where I am, Satoru, nor any information about me, will you? Let me enjoy my precious weeks!"

I know it's not like Sukuna will appear there but still, just to be cautious. What if he has some demon spawn or whatever.

"Haha! I don't sell my precious kouhai, you know? But then I just wanna ask you something...are you running away, Yuri?" There was a faint smirk in his voice.

"Yeah," I replied casually. There's no need to lie about that.

"Anyway, don't ask me about it or else I won't bring you any souvenirs! Got it?! Yes? Okay. Bye now!" I quickly ended our call and resumed the things I needed to do.

It's troublesome discussing Sukuna with him, especially if it's me who's talking. Satoru's suspecting so many things about us, me and Sukuna, with his ridiculous guesses. He's more interested than me, to be honest. But I've made up my mind...

I won't be dealing with sorcery for the meantime, demons, and curses, during my leave.

And that statement is a total fail. I'm having a mission and a vacation at the same time.

"Hey, brat. What happened to the one I told you?" Sukuna spoke inside Itadori's head but the boy just shrugged.

After he was introduced to his dorm and had a short tour around the school, he was permitted a free time for a while. In the lazy afternoon, Itadori was just in his room reading his comic books. Tomorrow they'll be meeting the other first-year.

"I already asked Gojo-sensei, didn't I? You heard it too. Sayuri-sensei's going overseas, man, I'm envious."

"That's why I told you to go after her, brat. Sayuri will not leave..."

Itadori Yuuji raised his eyebrow and got even more curious about his Jennifer Lawrence because of Sukuna's persistent desire on stalking her.

"Hey, you're being creepy, you know? Stalking's not good. By the way, do you have some kind of relationship with her?" He asked.
