Autumn-
2 days later

I walked to the car from the grocery store in tears I breathed in and out that meeting took a lot out of me I sighed and turned on my Micheal Jackson playlist

"Mommy you okay?" Armani asked

"No baby but I'll be okay" I wiped my tears and gathered all the energy I had left and drove out the parking lot

I looked at Armani bopping her head to "got til it's gone" by Janet Jackson and laughed a little

I opened my glove compartment at the red light and took the pill bottle of lexapro out

The name read: Lucas Coly

Please take as instructed I took two pills out of the bottle and popped them in my mouth I took a swig from my water bottle and swallowed them Instead of driving back home to the apartment I drove to my uncles house I didn't want to be alone...

"Knock knock"  I knocked on his door

"I'm coming" he shouted on the other side of the door He opened the door and looked at me in pity as I cried in the pouring rain

"I can't do it anymore" I cried into his arms he grabbed Armani and Amari out of my arms and brought them into the house He grabbed my hand and lead me into the house

"Your house is huge" I laughed as I wiped my tears I pulled my sleeves of my hoodie and ringed my hair out in the kitchen sink

"Yea being a district attorney does pay a lot" he chuckled I gasped

"YOU'RE the district attorney?!" I said is awe

"It is I" he joked I laughed with him but soon started crying

"Autumn what's going on?" I took a deep
Breath

"I-I'm pregnant and my boyfriend is missing and it's not his and I know he'll find out and then find me and-" I hyperventilated

"Slow down" I breathed in and out

"I can't have another kid I can barely manage these two and I'm only 21"

"On my third kid"

"Well there's always another option"

"No I don't believe in abortions"

"No God no I'm talking about adoption"

"Oh no not that either because I know first hand how crazy people can be"

"Daddy did you buy those pickles I asked you to" Elise walked through the door she looked at my wet body and my kids with towels wrapped around them

"Are y'all okay?" She asked I looked at her round belly She came closer to me and looked at my face examining the bruises that look worse now that there healing I looked down

"Yea were okay I just- I didn't wanna be alone at home" she looked me in my eyes and grabbed my hand and engulfed me with a hug my Uncle walked upstairs with the kids
