Continuing the cycles

Bare with me (Part one)

"Don't you see that I got baggage my hearts way to hard to manage ohhh ouuu no"

"I can't give a nigga my trust Said you working to change that But just bare with me You gotta bare with me Oh, bare with me, oh Baby just, oh just Bare with me" I sang as I washed my body in the shower I felt a pair of cold hands wrap around my waist I jumped as I held my chest I turned around and it was Lucas

"Lucas you can't keep doing this can you at least tell me when you're coming over?!" I covered up my body and he moved my hands

"What it's nothing I've never seen before" I rolled my eyes and tried to grab my towel but he grabbed my throat

"What did I tell you about rolling your eyes at me" he pushed my head I refrained from rolling my eyes because that's another beating  I'm not ready for

I'm supposed to be going on a date with this man I know from the hospital I work at his name is Jabari and he's a Nurse just like me we work on different floors but we see each other often

"Lucas, I'm going somewhere later can you watch the kids?" He looked at me to see if I was serious

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to dinner with a colleague" I half way lied

"Ight it's a girl right?" He turned back around

"Why does it matter Lucas we're not together," I  said as I put things back in my purse and got the curlings iron slipped on my red dress and put my robe on and started curling my flat ironed hair I sighed as I looked in the mirror and thought about how I was gonna leave it bout him noticing I was going with a Man I got my phone out my purse and texted Jabari and told him I'm gonna drive myself to the restaurant And meet him there I sat my phone down on the vanity and continued to curl my hair

-30 minutes pass-

I put on concealer around some of the marks I had left on my face and put a light natural beat to my face and looked in the mirror and smiled I took my robe off as my curls bounced I grabbed my Prada bag walked in the babies rooms and gave them kisses as they peacefully slept in the bed and headed for the door grabbed my keys and walked to the car

I got sleepy in the middle of writing this so I am making it two parts ❤️ good night
