I groaned in pain as I felt a hand on my stomach

"Mommy wake up" Armani whispered my eyes fully opened and she was laying next to me on the ground so was Amari I tried to get up but failed

I cried as I held my right side in pain

"I can't do this" I cried

"Mommy what's wrong?" Armani watched me have a break down Looking at Lucas sleeping peacefully on the bed made me outrageous I quickly mustered up all the energy in my and grabbed my kids and limped my way out the room I grabbed my car keys and let Armani walk herself

"Come on baby we gotta go" I grabbed her hand

"What about daddy?" She turned back around

"Daddy's not coming baby come on we gotta go quickly before he wakes up"

"No I want daddy to come!" She yelled I quickly put my hand over her mouth and silenced her as she screamed in my hand

"Armani please shh" I tried to quiet her down

"DADDYYY!!!" She screamed to the top of her lungs

"What what's going on?" Lucas came out the bed room

"N-Nothing I was just gonna take the kids to the store"

"We went to the store yesterday Autumn" he walked closer I whispered to Armani to go downstairs she finally decided to listen to me

"We were going to get breakfast and we didn't wanna wake you up" I lied

"Autumn don't lie to me you see where that got you yesterday" he drug his hands over his face and walked down the stairs

"Why do you keep testing me Autumn?! Do you really wanna see what I'm capable of?!" He yelled in my face I flinched and turned away from him he grabbed my bare shoulder and forced me to turn to him

"Lucas just stop!" I pushed him away from me as much as it hurt I couldn't let him do this to me anymore I looked around me for any objects as he charged at me I grabbed the lamp that was near the stairs and hit him over the head he stumbled back as blood leaked from his head he groaned in pain and fell down my chest heaved up and down I limped back downstairs to get the kids I held the rail as I felt a stinging pain in my right arm I kept walking further down the stairs I looked at my arm and I saw a piece of glass was in my arm I slowly pulled it out

"Shit" I mumbled

"Come on Armani" I grabbed her arm

I carried Armani in my arms as he slowly woke up from his nap he's a heavy sleeper I walked back up the stairs and Armani gasped once she seen her father on the ground bleeding

"Armani let's go!" I said as she let go of my hand and ran to her fathers side

"Daddy!" She exclaimed I grabbed her arm and took her to the car she hit my side which made me drop her

"Ahh" I winced in pain

"I'm sorry baby come on" I helped her get in the car I watched as tears fell down her face I buckled Amari in his car seat and backed out the driveway

"Autumn!! You can't escape me I'll find you!" Lucas yelled as he stumbled out the house I speeded down the street

Tears fell down my face as I drove in pain I stopped in a abandoned parking lot and threw my phone out the window I sat there and cried I breathed in and out to prevent myself from having a panic attack

"Mommy?" Armani asked

"Yes baby?"

"Did daddy hurt you?" I looked up at her in the mirror

"Yes he did that's why we're going away now"

"Where are we going?"

"I don't know baby but we're going far away from here" I started the car and put my gps destination to Georgia

I paced around the apartment in anger

"DAMMIT" I punched the wall I clenched my jaw in anger as I felt my head and looked at my hand I was bleeding

"I got her" I smirked

"She gonna get what's coming to her"
