Narrator's POV:

*3:00 am... 3 f*cking Am and I can't sleep! Why! Why is this happening to me?! Ughhhhh I know why! Of course I do!* "Stupid dumb Jade!"
"Hey! Shut up I'm trying to sleep ya know?!"

"Op.. sorry Grimm.." Y/n whispered embarrassed.
"Nah, it's okay. I can't sleep either to be honest." The little demon opened his blue eyes and turned to look at the (y/h/c) haired.

"Do you want to go get something to eat?" He asked only to get a 'no' from his prefect.

"How about you tell me why you are thinking about that creepy dude THIS late?" Grimm made his usual smirky face that depending on the situation Y/n felt like punching him or squeezing him. This time he received a pillow on his face.

"Shut your hole! I thought you didn't hear!" The little human covered their red face with their hands.

"Ha! You are way louder than you think dummy." Grimm laughed as he made his way next to Y/h who was now sitting on the bed with their legs crossed.

"I just.. y-you wouldn't understand.." they looked away blushing.
"Of course I wouldn't! You are thinking about this creepy dude who along with Azul and Floyd got not just me but also Ace and Deuce in debt!"

"Ohohoh nononono sir! You shouldn't have made a contract with him in the first place-!" The human attacked back.

"Let's not focus on small details!" Grimm brushed the fact away quickly.
"The point is.. WHY?!" Grimm was more invested in digging through his roommate's life than passing any class.

"It's No!Thing! Okay? You know what?! Go to sleep! I'm tired and we have first hour with Professor Trein tomorrow." And like that the Y/n ended the conversation not responding any questions from the demon they had as a friend.

"Professor Trein. I swear on Grimm's life!"
The demon turned his head almost 360 degrees to look at Y/n.

"Hey I'm not taking part on this! I was ready before you! Pleaseee let us in!"

"If you can give me a good reason to why you two came so late-" The gray haired man kept tapping his left foot impatient with an expression that was ready to reject the attempt of an excuse these were about to say.

"I mean it's just 5 minutes..."

"Still late! I'd let you pass but if it was because you adolescents were sleepy then there's nothing I can do." The two freshmen tried to come up with something but just like in the exams, their heads were empty.
"Too bad you irresponsible youngsters. Let's go, Lucius."
"Excuse me Professor Trein." The teacher turned to look at the young man that stopped by.
"Yes, Jade Leech?"

The formal twin entered the little discussion but not before giving Y/n a gentle smile and putting his hand on their shoulder.
"You see, I believe it was my fault that these two arrived late to your class."
"Oh really? How is that?" Mozus crossed his arms raising an eyebrow.

"I'll tell you, professor. Today as they were walking they found me with thousands of work piles on my hands trying to make my way through the busy hallways so I had to ask for their help. Please don't give a punishment to these good unfortunate souls, professor."
He had quite a silver tongue and no one could deny that, not even Mozus Trein who let the Ramshackle students in. But as Y/n was about to make their way in, they felt Jade's grip pressing their shoulder.
The mermaid inclined and whispered softly...
