the game changer

I'm sitting on the sideline at our game deciding if we make the state championship or not. The announcer is yelling into the microphone saying

" and banks receives the puck from conway. he passes it to moreau who then passes it to germaine taking the puck down the side and shooting the goal!!!!"

we all go crazy and start cheering for guy "YEAAAAA YOU SHOW THEM HAWKS" Coach Orion yelled onto the ice "McNeil!" he yelled "you're in!" Yes! i finally get to play. i jumped out onto the ice and got into position. the puck was immediately passed to me from banks. i was skating down the side with the puck and i heard guy screaming. i looked over to see the enforcer CHARGING at me. i screamed and was confused when i wasn't instantly slammed against the wall.

"EMMA LOOK OUT" i screamed as the huge enforcer charged at her oh my god shes gonna get hit. quickly i got dean and Fulton's attention and we all skated as fast as we could right into the enforcer knocking him over. all the hawks skated over and Emma slammed the puck into the goal. Thank god it counted.

 we got up and there was a puddle of blood underneath Fulton. the enforcers skate blade sliced open his leg badly. the paramedics got called and he was rushed to get stitches. everyone was in shock of what just happened. the hawks had lost and we won but the enforcer couldn't play the rest of the season after slicing Fulton's leg open. 

 I was glad that Emma wasn't hit. That guy was double her size, she would've been CRUSHED. We skated to each other and hugged while the team congratulated us for scoring.  Everyone was talking about how nervous they were when they saw him charge at her, and i don't blame them . i was super nervous myself. 

 We all went out for victory ice cream, which ended in laughs after Goldberg got it all over his face. i said id drive Emma home but instead i took her to my favorite spot. it was in the woods behind my house there was a little clearing over the lake and i set up a little movie/picnic date for us. she was going to love it.

"1,2,3 open your eyes!" guy said has he moved his hands away from my face. I opened then to see a little projector pointed at some sheets hanging from tree to tree and a little picnic blanket in the snow. i gasped" you did all this for me..?" i said "yep all because i love you" slipped from his big grin. He loves me! that's the first time i heard him say it and i loved it . "aw guy this is so sweet of you i love you more". that made him giggle. we laid down and he started the movie. he said it was called the outsiders but i had never seen it. we started it and i said "ooo that ponyboy is kinda cute" "but not cuter than me right" he said kind of concerned. i laughed and said no not cuter then you and then ended up falling asleep on him halfway through.
