{ Chapter 7: Movie night. }

Tom's POV

"Are you guys excited for movie night tonight?" Edd asked, eating his piece of bacon.

Ah yes, it was the next morning and Edd was serving us bacon. Luckily Tord and Edd didn't fight over the bacon this time.
Speaking of Tord, I couldn't sleep because of that bastard. That dream left me scarred.
Every time Tord would look over at me, I would quickly look away. I knew I was staring at him, and I just accepted it at this point. I clearly had a thing for him. Edd and Matt probably knew, and it was only a matter of time before Tord knew.
Did Tord really feel the way he felt in the dream? Was it all just a joke?
It probably was. He is my enemy after all, it would never work out.

That still didn't stop me from secretly staring at him while I was eating bacon. He would give me a few confused looks, to where it looked like he was concerned. He didn't know what I was hinting at yet.

"I can't wait for tonight!" Matt squealed, looking away from his mirror for once.

"Are we watching what I think were watching?" Tord asked.

"Yep, the return of the insane Zombie pirates from hell 5. " Edd nodded, smiling.

Edd must have noticed I wasn't reacting, so he tried to interact with me to get me to talk.

"Hey Tom, are you excited?" Edd asked.

I quickly snapped out of it and nodded quickly. "Yeah yeah yeah, I can't wait for it."

Edd raised an eyebrow. "Good, because this time you will be sitting by Tord. You seem to really be fond of each other."

My 'eyes' turned completely white for a second as I froze.
"Actually that's not a good idea-" I shook my head.

I could tell Tord gave me a glare.

"Why not?" Edd asked.

"Well- uhm, it's just-"
"It's settled! You and Tord will be couch buddies." Edd smiled.

Tord leaned over and nudged me a bit. "Yeah, couch buddies"

I flinched and slapped his arm away.
Everyone turned to face me and gave me a confused look.

"Tom, are you alright?" Edd asked.

"Yeah, did you sleep well?-" Tord asked.

"Yeah yeah yeah- just a little tired. My reflexes are hyperactive when I'm tired, sorry." I lied.

"Then why don't you sleep?" Matt asked.

"It's fine, let's just eat." I sighed.

Tord's POV
Soon enough, it was night time. It was a tradition to watch a random picked movie every Sunday, and it was my turn to pick. Of course, I picked one of my favorite movies of all time. The return of the insane Zombie pirates from hell 5.

I think most people would agree with me on its greatness.
We all gathered around to sit on the couch, while Edd put in the movie disc.
As we watched the movie, I noticed that Tom looked uncomfortable. He would refuse to look at me or even talk to me, even if it was a whisper. He was ignoring me.
He had been like this all day, but I don't know why. I had done everything for him and he repays me back by ignoring me. Seriously, what did I do wrong?

He would interact and laugh with Edd and Matt just fine, but when it came to me, I was just not there. I was invisible to him or something. I tried hitting on him, but that only made him act worse.
Randomly during the movie, while Edd and Matt were distracted by the blood and gore, I decided to shoot my shot.
I had already seen this scene a million times, so it was my chance. I nudged Tom a little until he finally looked at me.
"Tom, something is up. I won't judge, just tell me what's wrong. Please." I whispered to him.

He hesitated for a minute, before actually responding to me this time.
"It's not you, it's me." He whispered back.
I never had assumed that it might have actually been his own  problem, but I knew that wasn't the case either.
"No, it's not you it's me. You interact with Edd and Matt but not me. What did I do wrong?" I frowned.

He just stared at me for a moment,  before acting like I didn't even say anything.
I huffed, before watching the rest of the movie.
After the movie, Tom said he had to go to the bathroom. I watched him walk to the bathroom and sighed.
What was he hiding from me.

I would find out sooner or later, it was just a matter of time.
"That was a great movie, like always. We have time for another one, it's only 6PM." Edd commented.

"Good idea, do you want to watch the next movie in the franchise?" I asked them.

"But that movie has lots of special effects- and it has more jump scares!" Matt frowned.

"The special effects and jump scares are the best part!" I said, putting in the movie.

"Whatever you say." Edd shrugged.

I had a plan. Everyone knew that the 6th movie in the series was the longest one. I needed all the time I could get. Soon enough, Tom came back from the bathroom,, although the movie had already started a while ago.

"Where have you been Tom?" Edd asked.

"Bathroom, obviously." Tom rolled his 'voids.'

"What were you doing in there? You took a while." Edd narrowed his eyes at him.

"I was just freshening up, that's all." Tom said.

Edd shrugged it off and continued watching the movie.
It was a pretty normal and peaceful movie experience, nobody talked the entire movie. Matt would cover his eyes every few minutes because of the 'scary parts,' and Edd would help calm him down. But other than that, the four of us were silent. It was getting late, so they were bound to fall asleep sooner or later.

My plan was almost complete.
