Nobody's POV
Tord looked at the two males before pushing himself up. He dusted himself off and sighed in relief.
It was easier to take neither of their hands than to take one of them and be helped up easier. One of them would be upset, and nobody wants to see that.

"Thank you both, but I'm fine." Tord thanked them, then walking away from the awkward scene.

"Wait I—" Tom sighed, glaring over at Daniel.

"Why did you do that?" Tom finished. "I was already trying to help him up."

Daniel glared back at him. "Because I'm his assistant."

"Yeah, right." Tom huffed, trying to follow behind Tord.
Tom hated the fact that Daniel had  just ruined what could have been a 'moment' between him and Tord. If Daniel hadn't have been so close by, who knows what the outcome could have been.

Daniel followed angrily right after Tom.
"Where do you think you're going?"

"To talk to Tord, fuck off." Tom hissed at him.

"You're really overprotective of your boyfriend." Daniel scoffed, crossing his arms.
Tom's face started to heat up slightly. Right, he had almost forgot that he told Daniel that him and Tord were dating.
"Why are you so clingy towards him? He's not your boyfriend!" Tom huffed in response.

"Because you are a selfish brat, and I would like to know how Tord even took an interest in you." Daniel shot back.

"I don't know, but he is clearly more fond of me than of you." Tom shook his head, starting to walk away again.

"Then why didn't he take your hand instead of neither of ours?" Daniel questioned, making Tom stand in place for a moment.

"Because— he probably brought pity upon you. That's all." Tom snapped, walking away again to escape from Daniel.
Daniel growled, walking in the other direction.

Once Tom had got away, he quickly went to find Tord.
Tom walked into Tord's office and shut the door behind him, glancing around the room.
Tord was in his office chair reading— some pretty gross looking anime. Hentai.
Gross.

Tom shook his head in disgust and walked over to Tord.
"Aren't you supposed to be doing your job?- As some sort of leader?"

"Of course." Tord hummed, putting down his gross magazine.
"But I'm on a break. You can stay in here with me if you would like."

Tom nodded slowly, sitting down in a chair across from where Tord was sitting. "There's not much to do in here—"

"I would like to have a talk with you." Tord hummed, resting his head on his hand.
Tom raised his brow. "Uhm, okay?"

"About the other day, you were oddly quick to ask about becoming my assistant. Why was that?" Tord asked.

"Well— I-" Tom didn't really know what to say. He didn't expect Tord to ask him that. He wasn't going to tell Tord the truth, that's for sure.

"Was it because of Daniel? Were you maybe jealous of him?" Tord asked again, grinning to himself.

"No— why would I be jealous?" Tom quickly shook his head.

"I don't know, you were just acting weird. That's all. So, what's the deal then?" Tord hummed, waiting for an answer.

"I really just wanted to be your assistant here?-" Tom quickly blurted out.

Tord raised his brow. "So it was the tour that made you interested?"

"Yeah— the tour." Tom smiled awkwardly.

"Interesting." Tord got up from his seat, walking over to where Tom was sitting. "I'm glad you decided to stay, Thomas." He purred.

"Yeah, Whatever." Tom looked in the opposite direction from Tord.

"I have a lot of plans for you here." Tord hummed, watching as Tom looked back at him.

"Tord—"

He was interrupted by the door swinging open, and behind it revealed Paul.
"Red." Paul questioned, walking into the room.

"Who's this new assistant people have been buzzing about?" He asked, soon focusing on Tom.
"Him?"

Tord nodded, pulling Tom up from his seat. Tom stumbled backwards and fell right into Tord's chest, quickly propping himself back up awkwardly to stand next to Tord.
"This is Tom. I've talked about him before, no?"

"Your ex? Yeah, you've spoke about him." Paul nodded, tossing his dead cigarette into the trash.

"He's my new assistant, along with Daniel too, of course. Having both of them as my assistants will be handy, don't you think?" Tord hummed, pulling Tom closer to him.
Tom blushed slightly and tried his best to look annoyed as usual.

"I'm not sure he can stay. Won't he tell people our secrets and all?" Paul asked. "And besides, you were enemies once before. You can't truly say you trust him, right?"

Tord looked at Tom, and then back at Paul. "I trust Tom. I really do."

Paul raised his brow.
Tom just looked back at Tord.

"I mean, if you trust him, I trust him." Paul nodded slowly.
"It's just a little strange that he's here now, that's all."

"You'll get used to him being here, and he will probably not stay here for long. He has some old friends waiting at him at home." Tord nudged Tom slightly.

Tom's 'eyes' widened. Oh yeah, he had almost forgot about Edd and Matt. He didn't have his phone on him, so he must have lost it.
He could only imagine the messages his dear friends were sending him. Who knows what they were thinking right now?

"Edd and Matt! Right—" Tom interrupted himself. He really wanted to see Edd and Matt again, but, on the other hand he wanted to stay with Tord. "Yeah, I won't be here forever." The Brit laughed nervously.

"He's alright. Anyone have a cancer stick?" Paul asked, plopping down in the seat Tom was previously sitting in.

"Sadly, no." Tord hummed, sitting in his office chair across from Paul. Tom stood next to Tord's chair, smiling lightly to himself.
For the first time in a while, he actually felt safe with Tord. Despite him being the red leader, of course.

——

On the other side of the door stood an angry looking Daniel. He resisted the feeling to punch the wall beside him.
Daniel was sure that Paul would find a way to convince Tord that Tom had to leave, after all, he had planned this.
As Daniel thought of another plan, he perked up at what the guys were talking about on the other side of the door.

"You're really fond of this sucker, aren't you?" Paul asked from the other side.

"Well of course, Thomas and me go way back." Tord replied.

"So if you were enemies before this, how did you bond or whatever?" Paul asked curiously. He was just in the mood to start some drama.

'Enemies?' Daniel raised his brow, putting his ear against the door to discover more about what they were talking about.

"We can get along well when we aren't arguing." Tord hummed.

"Wait, are you two dating? This sounds more of a couple thing." Paul questioned.

Tom quickly looked at Tord, giving him a look. The look on his face told Tord to not say anything about their past relationship. Tord didn't know why Tom wanted to act all secretive about this, probably because Tom would be embarrassed, but he decided to respect Tom's wishes.

"Nope. We have never dated." Tord answered.

"And we don't plan to." Tom added, crossing his arms.

Daniel raised his brow, pulling his ear away from the door.
"So, they weren't dating? That little fucking liar." Daniel growled quietly.
"I knew he was hiding something from me."
