You knocked at the door waiting for a response, none came.

Slowly, you opened the door and peered inside. Albus's office was empty.

"Hmm... that's odd?"

You looked around some more, searching for any sign of the head master, to no avail.

Fawkes sat on his perch, gazing at you with his dark eyes.

You gazed back, trying to figure out where Albus could have gone.

Suddenly, the room became cold and dark. The fire beneath Fawkes went out, a cool breeze blowing in through an open window.

Quickly, you ran to see what was happening outside.

A storm whirled above and the trees of the forbidden forest shook violently.

"What on earth..."

Turning around, you froze, eyes wide.

A dark mist enveloped the room, shadows dancing everywhere.

Fawkes hid underneath his wing.

Then, as if appearing into thin air, the poltergeist stood in the doorway, staring at you.

Gulping back your terror, you tried to ask the being a question.

"Wh-who are you? What do you want? Where is the headmaster?"

The poltergeist just stared. It's eyes black and empty, as if it didn't have any thoughts. However, it's gaze pierced your soul like none other.

"Who ARE you?!" You spoke louder at it.

The being turned towards Fawkes, floating towards him.

"Don't you dare hurt him!" You growled.

It turned to look at you once more.

What looked like a mouth began to form on its face, rows of teeth inside.

A deep growl-like shriek came from it.

You clamped your hands over your ears, hoping you wouldn't go deaf.

Then, as soon as it had appeared in the room, it disappeared, like it had never been there.

The storm outside stopped, the clouds and mist were gone.

"What the bloody hell..."

You quickly left, heading downstairs to see Severus.

As you paced down the hallways, they drew cooler, more than usual.

Shivers ran up your spine, you wrapped your arms and cloak tight around you.

Finally, you were at the staircase that led to the dungeon.

When you reached Severus's room you noticed the door propped open.

"Odd... he doesn't normally leave the door open." You thought to yourself.

You looked inside cautiously, yet there he was, sitting at his desk bent over some papers, a scowl on his face.

"Ehhem..." you looked at him.

His eyes darted up at the interruption.

"F/n, what are you doing here? I thought you went to see Albus?" He frowned slightly, still sitting at his desk.

"I did, but he wasn't there and then something strange happened..." you walked up to his desk, grabbing a chair to sit across from him.

He arched an eyebrow at you, tilting his head.
