One we all know Adrien Agreste would do anything for his 'just a friend' Marinette. I mean the dude pushed her out of the way of scarlet akumas AND fell onto the floor with her, with his hand on her head while glaring at tiny butterfly's.
Two if Adrien were ever to get into an argument with Marinette, and Marinette was to get up in Adriens face, she wouldn't be taken serious since we all know in order for Marinette to reach Adriens face she has to stand on her tip toes.
Therefore Adrien wouldn't be able to hate Marinette because she would be on her tip toes while arguing with him and he would have to lean down to actually look her in the eyes.
Which then would lead to him being tempted to lean in and kiss her or just pick her up and then kiss her.
