The Nerd Project (Re- writing)

N/ Hey ... The power went out in my school so I did this ... Its really short btw

|Teddy's POV|

"Matt , go check it out." I whisper while looking around to see if I could use something in his room to protect myself. I see a metal bat by his bed a take it.

I push Matt to his bed room door as we hear another glass shatter. I'm trying my best not to make any noise but I can't help as the floor squeak under me. Matt faces me and I can tell he wants my feet to stop making such noises with the floor. Sighing , I gave Matt one more last push but don't dare to make a move.

"Go!" I whisper once again.

My head is pounding and I'm shaking nonstop. Just the thought of somebody other than me and Matt in the house makes my stomach twist and it's not because of the cramps.

My thoughts are all over the place as I watch Matt walk out and go downstairs. Mentally , I pry that he doesn't get hurt and that it's just a dog breaking Matt things.

Being the stupid person I am , I wait for Matt to be out of my sight before I follow him.

Glass and picture frames are everywhere at the bottom of the stairs. I see a younger Matt holding a baseball bat smiling ear to ear. I find myself smiling too until yelling brings me back to reality.

"Matt!" I whisper-yell hoping hell hear me. "Matt."

His house is so big I can't find where he's at. My fingers grip Matt's metal bat as I turn a corner. "Matthew!" I yell this time , tired of the fact I can't find him.

Maybe I should just leave and let Matt fight the short man in all black .... That's how I picture him/her anyways.

I hear foot steps and I stop walking not sure if it's Matt or the short man

"Teddy ," A chuckle comes behind me and I know for a fact it's not Matt.
