Fresh rays of sunshine came cascading down, evenly filling the quiet room, giving it a serene aura. Five figures stood in the middle of the room, surrounding the bed that was placed in the middle, gloomy eyes staring at the skinny, frail figure laying motionlessly on the bed. It had been hours since they were let into the hospital room, hours upon hours of waiting for a son, a brother and a lover to wake up and come back to them, but they all remembered what the kind doctors had said before they left them,

"He will wake up when his body and mind feels safe enough"

as much as they wanted their Snow to come back to them, they knew there was nothing they could do to make the process faster.

The last test they had run on his youngest son was still fresh in his mind, it was as if the whole situation was a gaping, bloody wound and the white papers that held the cursed results were droplets of sharp salt being mercilessly poured into the said wound. Ever since he entered the room he couldn't take his eyes off his precious son, the same boy who he held with utmost love the day he was born, the same boy who was the last reminder he had of his late wife, on one hand he felt ashamed on himself for letting Win get hurt, it was his duty as a parent to make sure that his kids were safe, it was his duty to make sure that at the end of the day all his kids came back home to him, but he knew that no matter how much he blamed himself or pondered over the different ways of how he could have avoided the plight from happening, there were more than one people with dangerous obsessions growing out there,

but at the end of the day, it was done, his son had spent months being tortured out of his mind, his son had been snatched from right under his nose, but what mattered the most to him is that they had the boy back with them and this time around he was going to be the father his kids deserved.

He had not realised that he was crying until he felt the pin pricks of his tears falling on to his hand, along with a soft voice calling from behind him,

"Uncle?"

He turned slightly, red rimmed eyes meeting a set of tired eyes, equally filled with tears, he hastily pulled his hand away from Win's cold hands, wiping at his face before turning to face Team completely,

"Are you okay?"

A choked laugh,

"I don't know Team... I... I always thought of myself as a good father, a father who could protect his kids from every evil being in the world... but now... my carelessness got my son hurt and I-"

a soft hand but with a surprisingly strong grip clutched at his shoulder,

"Never. You know that's not true.. you can't blame yourself for someone else's actions uncle. Whatever that man did to hia was his own doing... not yours.. please don't blame yourself... you know once he wakes up the first person he's going to look for is you.... Uncle I... I wanted to apologise to you for the way I treated hia in the past.. I was too blind to see how much he was suffering and I easily believed anything and everything they said about him... I'm truly sorry uncle.."
