"Would you like to come with me to Lotus Pier? I know you are looking for the cure and I think we can find the answer there, after all, I am looking for it too" Jiang Cheng felt a tightness in his chest for lying so blatantly, but as he said earlier it was necessary to lie.

"Did I make my search for it seem obvious? What a shame, but anyway, wouldn't it be a hassle for me to go to Lotus Pier?"

One hour passed and the two were prepared, they would go there alone without any disciples to accompany them. They took their swords and headed towards the place, when Lan Xichen arrived he sighed and looked at Jin Ling who returned him with a smile.

"My uncle asked me to pick up his robes from his room, we can take advantage of the situation and find something that'll bring us a clue!"

"Yes, that sounds strange but I have a feeling it will help him so I will do my best"

Yunmneg Jiang's disciples looked at each other strangely, with the absence of Jiang Cheng they were practicing and studying with the help of Wei Wuxian and some other helpers. They did not know what to do with the presence of Lan Xichen and Jin Ling, even though they knew something was wrong, they kept quiet without questioning the guests.

When they arrived at Jiang Cheng's room, Jin Ling took a small key from his pocket, opened the door and the window to make the place bright. Meanwhile, Lan Xichen stood at the door waiting for Jin Ling to say something.

"Now our search begins, try to find something that can help us while I look for his clothes"

Lan Xichen looked all over the place and found some interesting and worrying things, while looking around he saw the purple ribbon that Jiang Cheng wore in his hair and suddenly wanted to touch it, but soon he stopped his hand from getting close to it because he knew it was wrong, he didn't know why he wanted to touch it but he knew this was going beyond what he knew about himself. He preferred to keep such thoughts out of his head, keeping them inside his heart, making a fool of himself as if nothing had happened. Jin Ling that was watching the whole situation didn't know whether to laugh or cry, it was shameful but good at the same time, Lan Xichen was strange ... just like Jiang Cheng, both would make a great match.

Lan Xichen had found a Book and some petals with blood stains, it was horrible to remember that Jiang Cheng suffers so much at all times because of these flowers, they may be beautiful but they hurt. Not only was he concerned with the pain and suffering but also with his mental state, Lan Xichen was not as bad as he was a year ago, but Jiang Cheng did not seem to have accepted any help from his brother or nephew, thus worsening his health. So keeping himself so trapped he ended up getting this disease.

As Lan Xichen was examining the strange book, he saw Jiang Cheng had taken it from the library since there was a little note next to it. On the cover, it was written Hana with the rest being unable to read because the ink was fading.

"Jin Ling, look! I found a book"

"A book? What's it about?"

"I'm not sure, but it says Hana on the cover, it must be a book about flowers ... but there's something in my head that tells me I'm wrong"

"Try to see what it says inside then"

"I will do that now"

Lan Xichen opened the book and was astonished, the word on the cover was no longer incomplete. Hanahaki, the one-sided love disease, it wasn't possible that Jiang Cheng was with it but as Lan Xichen stopped to think about it makes sense, the disease made the victim spit flowers and Jiang Cheng was almost entirely covered in flowers... that must be why Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian didn't want to tell anyone, Jiang Cheng was ashamed. Now that Lan Xichen found out the truth he was desperate, how could he help him now?

"Jin Ling, this book saved me! Even though I feel bad for doing this without him knowing I know he is dying so my actions aren't wrong. We must find this person quickly"

"Don't feel bad when he is the wrong one, now tell me what is the disease?"

"HanaHaki, as far as I know, we should make the person he loves to love him back"

"But how are we going to do that?"

"I don't know, but I will do whatever it takes to find this person"

Jin Ling was laughing so much mentally that he started having a headache, Lan Xichen was looking for himself... he is blind! but I am sure that one day he will find out and laugh at those confusing days he is going through.

I wrote this chapter in my main language and the translation ended up pretty bad... This was my first time doing it and my last lol🕴
