17- You're lying

Sofia's P.O.V.

Waking up this morning after the night Derek and I had, was wonderful to say the least. I didn't have a chance to tell him about our baby yet, but was planning to today. Or maybe I should tell him about José first? Ahhhh this is such a mess.

I leaned over and checked my phone. I had a few phone calls and multiple texts.

All from Leo and José.

I checked my messages first.

José - You fucking bitch!

José - I knew you lied to me when you told me you didn't have feelings for Derek.

José - I tested you and you failed! You told Derek and his crew not to come to the docks last night. For that you will pay.

Son of a bitch!

Me - José I have no idea what the hell you're talking about? I swear!

I got out of bed and went into the bathroom. Starting the shower, I checked the message from Leo…

Leo - We need to talk! I found the information you're looking for.

I jumped in the shower, I let the warm water hit my face. I had a feeling today was going to be a really shitty day! I washed my hair and shaved quickly, I was rinsing out when I heard Derek come into the bathroom.

"Hey you!"

"Hi, I didn't wake you did I?" I turned off the shower and grabbed my towel.

"Not really, I went to reach for you and you weren't there."

I wrapped the towel around me, stepping out I leaned over and gave him a kiss. "I needed a shower. I was sticky and sweaty from our night."

"Hmmmm."

I walked out of the bathroom and started getting dressed. "Babe, can I talk to you?"

"Of course, can I shower first?"

"Yeah, that's fine." I heard the shower start up, I sat on the bed, figuring out how I was going to start this conversation.

A few minutes later I heard the shower turn off and he came out in a towel. "Are you alright? You seem nervous about something."

"I need to tell you something."

He put on pants and was walking over with his shirt when there was a knock on the door.

"Derek? I'm sorry to bother you, but you guys need to come see this!" Zac called from the otherside of the door.

"Babe, can this conversation wait a few minutes? Zac wouldn't bother us unless it was important."

"Yeah."

I grabbed my phone, no messages from José yet. Derek grabbed my hand as we walked downstairs.

Tons of Derek's men, including his father and Nico were downstairs waiting. I was scared, what the hell happened.

"What's going on?" Derek questioned.

"The cops raided the docks last night. Multiple gang members including Hugo were shot and killed, others taken into custody. They're calling it the biggest bust of the year."

"Are you serious? Holy shit." Derek was still holding onto my hand. "If it wasn't for Sof, we would have been there."

He led me over to the island. I felt my phone vibrate with a text. The guys were all talking about what happened last night when I checked my phone.
