I put my phone down and lay on my back giggling. "Everything seems so bright and happy. Isn't that great?" I say while throwing my hands in the air with a 'woo' sound. I let one arm fall back to my side and keep the in the air with my thumb up.
Multiple pings go off from my phone for only god knows how long. My giggles and laughs start to subside, my body becomes heavy, and my thoughts are running.
What will register first?
I wince as I feel the aching in my leg slowly start to come back and run my hands through my hair hissing as the pain on my torso ripples through my body. "It was nice while it lasted,'' I say to no one and pick up my phone again, "how long as it been?"
