The Boy no one really knew

Where does he go?

Jace kept leaving around 10:35pm making Archer curious about where he was going off to so late. One day she saw him get in his car and drive away so she waited to see what time he would get back. It was 1:35am by the time Jace got home Archer knew something was up with him and she was captivated once again by the boy. Her mom and dad had a surprise they have been waiting to give Archer for years now. So when she was ready for it they gave her, her new car amazed that they got her a car she kissed both of their cheeks. Happy about the gift they got her she thinks "Maybe now I can follow him to see where he goes now"  kind of excited about her mission she waits for 10:35pm to get here. She watched the clock closely and was getting more and more anxious about it "What if he has been leaving so late to kill people" She thinks then shakes her head. She slowly falls asleep Because time was moving slowly When she woke up it was 10:25pm a few more minutes then he would leave. She walked out of her house and got in her car and waited for the boy to leave his house. "Lets see where you have been going Mr. King" Archer says as he walks out of his house and locks the door and heads to his car. He gets in and slowly pulls away from his house and drives away Archer followed behind him.    

Archer's car

Archer saw Jace park at a coffee shop and she parked on the other side of the road she sat in her car. "Has he been leaving his house to work here for money" she thinks to her self she looked at the coffee shop and smiled "Or maybe he drinks a lot of coffee" she says with a giggle. She gets out of her car and hears music playing a some one singing she smiles "Sounds like fun" she says. "Did you hear the one boy is back again" people say and Archer hears "Apparently he lost his mom and moved here then lost his job" the other person says. Archer confused and thinking "Is there another boy here now too" she walks in behind them. She stands in the back near the window to see what every one was talking about and saw Jace with a guitar her jaw dropped. He could play the guitar very well but what shocked her was what he began to sing. (Not real song lyrics by professional) "when you left it felt like every thing has changed, now I am here to play life's foolish game, all I can think about is the pain that won't go away, I wish you could have stayed, but sadly it's too late I wish I could say I will one day be okay, but why did you have to leave me this way" Jace's lyrics shown how much pain he was in. Archer slowly began to take a set to listen to the boy just a little bit longer. "You left me here to face my fears but sadly my fear is your not here, oh why must I stay here I can't hold on much longer because of my fear, I wish you could see I'm not that strong, oh mother why did you have to go, you left me here to be on my own" Jace kept singing as tears slowly rolled down his face.

Archer sat there thinking to herself  "This boy has been through hell and back but keeps fighting for his life each day" she continues to listen. "I can't see the light you say shines with in me, all I can see are clouds filled with envy and hatred, slowly drowning me in my feelings, won't nobody come and save me from my misery, before I fall into a tragedy" Jace sings and every ones eyes fill with tears. Before Archer knew it she was crying too amazed by the boys voice that sounded like the voice of a broken soul she took the lyrics to heart. "Oh mother will I be able to make it through the night and will I be able to win this fight, I will stand till my time is done so I can see you again as mother and son" Jace's last lyrics he packed up his guitar and took a bow. "Thank you all for letting me sing again for you it helps a lot" Jace says then spots Archer in the back "Shit how long has she been here" he thinks to himself. He goes to order a coffee "What can I get for you sugar" the barista says "One triple Mocha espresso please love" Jace says. "Coming right up for you sugar" the barista say and starts to make his coffee Archer sees him and walks over too him. "So this is were you been running off too Jace" Archer say and Jace just looks at her "Here to try and make fun of me too?" Jace asked Archer confused shakes her head. "Here you go sugar on triple Mocha espresso on the house" the barista says "Thank you love but I would like to pay ya" Jace says kindly to the barista. "Sugar you singing here is the best kind of pay this old lady could have" the barista says to Jace and he smiles softly "Love my voice ain't no cats meow" he says. Archer confused about why he was talking that way was only finding that she was more captivated by the boy.

"So you sing Jace" Archer says and he looks at her with his coffee "So what if I do?" Jace asked Archer smiles softly at him. "You have a talent Jace the song you just sang it hit pretty hard" Archer says and Jace Takes a sip of his coffee and says "I only took up singing when I was in a bad spot in life" Archer looks at him. "You make your own songs?" Archer asked him he chuckles a bit "I do I take things that has been hurting me and turn them into lyrics" Jace says and sips his coffee again. "That's awesome Jace you should make it into a career" Archer says with a smile Jace looks at her confused "Why would I do that?" He asked Archer and she sighed "Your voice is soul touching" she says. His eyes widen a little "It is? How?" he says "You can put your emotion in each word Jace" Archer says and they looked at one another. Jace thinks for a moment "I don't think it would work out Archer I know you think it will but I don't see it" he says and Archer looks at him "Let me help you then Jace" Archer says and he looks at her. "Why would you help me Archer I am a no body" Jace says "You are not a no body Jace you are Jace king the boy with a talent" Archer says and smiles more. "If you say so Archer and shouldn't you be home?" Jace says Archer looks at the time "Oh shit they will ground me if I don't get home soon just think about what I said okay Jace" Archer says and runs to her car and drives home. Jace drinks his coffee "Sugar that little doll had a point you do have a talent I say you should put it to good use" the barista says and Jace looks at her for a second the smiles "Even if I did what if it doesn't work out in the end love" Jace says.

"Well you'll never know if you don't take a chance sugar" the barista says and Jace nods and smiles "You're right love" Jace says. He walks out with his coffee in one hand and his guitar in the other out to his car. He sets his coffee on the roof to his car to put his guitar in the back set and he closes the door then grabs his coffee and gets in his set and closes the door and drives off.  He gets home and pulls into his drive way and parks his car he get out with his empty coffee cup and his guitar. He locks his car and goes to his front door to unlock it and go inside when he goes in he shuts his door and locks it. Jace sets his guitar next to his moms photo and throws the empty cup away "Good night mom" he says and heads up to his room to go to bed. He takes off his shoes and crawls up in bed and falls asleep he must have been very tired cause he slept well for the first time in months. He starts to dream about his mom "Mom is it really you?" he asked her in his dream she smiles "Look at you Jace where has the time gone" his mother says. "Mom I miss you so so very much" Jaces says to her "I miss you to my son but I see you made a friend" she says and Jace looks at her. "Are you talking about Archer mom" Jace asked "So her name is Archer she cares a lot about you kiddo" she says Jace shakes his head "She hardly knows me mom so why would she care about me" he says. Before his mom could answer him his Phone goes off which causes him to wake up he looks at his phone and  puts its down. "It's summer I don't need to wake up this early any more for a while" he says the lays back down for a little while longer.
