Jace's Change

After becoming friends with Archer Jace hasn't seen her in a bout a month. He looks in his mirror "God I need a hair cut" Jace says to himself and "maybe a pet too so it's not so lonely". He walks down stairs and grabs his keys and heads out to get his hair cut and to get a pet. "I'm off then mom" Jace says as he looks at her photo with flowers around it and heads to his car. He get in his car and heads to the bobber shop to get his hair cut when he gets there he parks his car and gets out locking the doors. He walks into the shop "Hello welcome take a set and we will be right with you Sir" the lady says and Jace takes a set. He looks around and sees everyone working to get peoples hair done he smiles "I can help you sir" a young lady says with a smile Jace smiles back softly. She walks him over to a chair "What would you like today sir" she says and Jace smiles "Can I get a shave in the back and sides a bit then dye it black" he says and she smiles "I can do that for you" she says and starts to cut his hair. "There you go all finished" she says and Jace smiles the total was $20.75 Jace pays $30 "Keep the change" He says and walks out. He gets in his car and heads to the animal shelter when he get there he get out of his car and locks the doors.

He heads in "Welcome sir what are you looking for today" the man says and Jace thinks for a minute "A pup and kit" Jace says and the man smiles. "Right this way then sir" the man says and Jace follows him he looks at the pups and sees a beautiful black pup he bends down "Hi little one" he says to the pup. It runs up to him Jace smiles "I would like this pup please" he says and the man get him out. "Now for the kit right this way" the man says and Jace follow holding the pup. Jace looks at the kit's and sees a white one and smiles "Sir I would love this little kit right here" Jace says and the man get the kit for him. Jace didn't mind how he just spent $400 at the shelter. With the kit and pup asleep in the front set Jace heads home he smiles "Archers birthday is coming up soon I hope she don't mind I got her a gift" he says softly. He gets home and get's out of his car and opens the other side to get the pup and kit he shuts the door holding them close to him. He sees Archer heading this way he runs inside and sets the pup and kit on the sofa then there was a knock. "Come on in Archer" Jace says standing in front of the sofa so she doesn't see her gift. She comes in "Hey, J- wow you cut it" Archer says and he laughs "I need a change for once I guess does it look bad" He says and Archer shakes her head. "I was coming over to see how you are" Archer says and Jace smiles "I am doing good um I got you something" he says and Archer looks at him. "You didn't have to get me anything Jace" Archer says "I wanted to though Archer your birthday is coming up" he says and turns around to pick up the kit.

"it's not much but I hope you like her" Jace says turning around with the kit. "J-Jace that is a baby fox" Archer says and he giggles "I know it is I thought you would love a companion to have around" he says handing the kit to Archer. She froze in place "H-How did you get the sweet angle" Archer asked and looked at Jace "The animal shelter had her" he says and smiles cutely at Archer making her blush. "T-Thank you Jace" Archer says and Jace walks up and kisses her forehead "Anything for the birthday girl and my best friend" Jace said sweetly as his pup whines. He pick him up "It's okay little guy" Jace says and Archer looked at him "I-Is that a wolf pup" Archer asked and Jace nods "It's kind of lonely here all by myself" he says and Archer nods. He puts the pup down and Archer set her kit down they started playing with each other. Jace laughed "Looks like they are already best friends" he says and looks at Archer "I guess so" Archer says. She hugs Jace "You are amazing Jace" Archer says making him blush a little and he hugs back "Anything for you Archer" he says softly. "She is cute when she is happy" Jace thinks to himself his heart slowly starts to race "what is this feeling" he says to himself. Archer giggles and he looks up to see the pup and kit tackling each other and he smiles. Is he falling for Archer and if he is what should he do to not ruin their friendship? He looks at her as she stand there with her smile and feels his face getting hot he looks away.
